After 3 visits and over $2,000 later the car was still not fixed. I had no \r
Choice but to take the car back and bring it to a smog specialist. He determined that the problem was the cheapest component and the only one that had not been switched out. So far I have spent over $3,000 to determine that it was a $160 dollar part that had failed.\r
A second opinion may have saved me thousands of dollars. The other valuable lesson learned was to always have them save the old parts, they get rid of them right away which left me with no recourse.\r
They may be good mechanics and they seem to be fair but if you have a smog problem and your check engine light is on like mine was it may run into thousands of dollars and when I finally had to cut my losses, guess what, the light came on after 50 miles just like it did after each part was replaced .
