After 3 visits and over $2,000 later the car was still not fixed. I had no \r Choice but to take the car back and bring it to a smog specialist. He determined that the problem was the cheapest component and the only one that had not been switched out. So far I have spent over $3,000 to determine that it was a $160 dollar part that had failed.\r A second opinion may have saved me thousands of dollars. The other valuable lesson learned was to always have them save the old parts, they get rid of them right away which left me with no recourse.\r They may be good mechanics and they seem to be fair but if you have a smog problem and your check engine light is on like mine was it may run into thousands of dollars and when I finally had to cut my losses, guess what, the light came on after 50 miles just like it did after each part was replaced . more

Brought my car in to be fixed. Needless to say, car is still not fixed but I'm over $3000 in the hole. Nice people, but just can't get the job done the first, second, or third time in. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!! more

I've had plenty of junkers in my life, which of course means that I have had plenty of experiences with shops and mechanics. I've had my car in Square Deal's garage 5 times in the last 4 years (it is there as we speak!) and I've never had anything but a great experience. Super fast, they've never been less than fair on the pricing and when I leave there, I never wonder if I overpaid or if the work was done right. It always is and I highly recommend them! more

I've had quite a few things done there and each time they are quick and honest and they have never overcharged me. Went to a couple of their competitors around town, one quote was $900.00 higher than Square Deal for a simple replacement of a pretty common part (a catalytic converter). Square deal performed the job for me for only $550.00 and that included the part, gave me back my old parts, explained what happened and why and took less than one day. The other guys wanted the car for at least three days. \r If my engine light goes on now for any reason I just immediately call Square Deal and ask for Jerry. He's the man! more

I had my car serviced here for new brake pads. My car was making sqeaky noises when I braked so I took it to Square Deal Garage to have it checked out. I just told them that I heard sqeaking coming from the tires and they knew it was the break pads. So I left it there for an hour and it was done. The service is very good and fast. My breaks stop sqeaking after the new pads. more

I had my Mitsubishi Eclipse serviced here before I sold it. It needed the timing belt, water pump, seals, etc changed so they did all that. They also installed an aftermarket performance clutch that was the same price as a stock one which they recommended. Great service and fast return time. more

Square Deal is an honest and decent place. It does a very good job. Fair prices, too. Several people had mentioned this place to me, and I decided to try it. I have always been happy with their work. They seem to have the same people working there, which is a good sign, too. Not a lot of coming and going. They do a good job with basic work as well as more complicated. The cars are always ready when they say they will be. I prefer this place over any other in the area. more
