This is simply the best office I have been to in a long time! I have seen Dr. Jeng several times for Botox. I am extremely pleased with the results. My daughter has seen Stephanie, the nurse practitioner for acne as well as the aesthetician for laser hair reduction. Both experiences were superb! They both took their time and explained her diagnosis and treatment. Their kind demeanors put my daughter, who was slightly nervous, immediately at ease. I would not consider seeing any other dermatologist in Austin!! more

Do not go here barely examined me practically pushed me out the door. Make you feel like you are unwelcome and made remarks like oh what you have is nothing and these moles are part of aging don't worry about those. I've had a serious rash and they gave no help in determining what is causing it. Beware these people do not seem to care for another human being at all. more

I have been a patient there for years and although I do like Dr Jeng and Jill the PA, the receptionist Amanda has just been rude to me for the last time!!!! She needs to be fired. I asked Dr Jeng to call me back and she did not so I guess she does not care about my experience with her unprofessional receptionist? more

Um you kidding right!! 4/27/2012

I was unhappy with the experience that I had today. I showed up for what I was told was a simple MOLE REMOVAL. I signed in and was promptly taken to the examination room. The assistant started describing my procedure as a BIOPSY and asked me to sign a form stating that I was aware of a separate charge from a lab to do testing on my BIOPSY. I was like no I am having a mole removed for cosmetic reasons I didn?t ask for a biopsy. She said that is their policy to always do a biopsy when they remove things. Well that is just fine if that is their policy but that was the first time I was hearing about it being a biopsy and there being lab fees. I was only interested in the procedure because of the quote that I had already received. I told them that I was not interested in the procedure anymore because I was not fully informed about everything involved. The doctor had the audacity to say, ?Well we charge a $50 fee for cancelations but I will waive it this time.? I kept my mouth shut but was thinking are freaking kidding me. I am pretty sure I showed up for my appointment it?s not my fault I was leaving with my mole still attached. Anyways with all that said I will take it upon myself to try harder to ask more questions in the future and be as annoying as I can with my numerous questions to make sure I get completely informed about every single little thing that is involved in my future appointments. In turn THEY could better train their staff to simply give the information that a person needs to make an educated decision about a procedure. Instead they just herding us in and out of the office like cattle; not giving you a chance to ask any questions so you assume that they have informed you of all fees until the day of the appointment, and by then it is too late to take back the time that you took off of work to go and for them to schedule another person. more

Rude. 10/13/2011

We went in October 2011 for a consultation for a photo facial - basically a med spa service. Even so the office demanded 3 pages of information for a consult. This is just to see of we wanted to make an appointment for service. When questioned the up front person about such lengthy paperwork for a consultation, she became rude. The attitude was "" fill out everything on all three pages or just leave."" So we left. Rude office. Office manager was slightly less rude. I will never step into that office again. I'm sure the Clinic owner would have treated us differently, but I doubt she and her partner will ever hear about this. We live in the neighborhood. more

Love it! 11/2/2010

I have been a patient of Jill Hude's for many years now, and I would and do recommend her to all of my friends and family. She is very knowledgable and personable. Every experience I have had there has been a very pleasant one! more

Speed and Greed 9/25/2010

My follow up visit was scheduled with the physician's assistant. A physician's assistant is not a substitute for a board certified dermatologist. I declined the expensive procedure that she recommended. more

Professional and caring Dermatology Clinic 3/5/2010

I have been a patient of Dr. Jeng?s for about 4 years. I have found her to be very professional and also a very warm caring person. She and her staff are very thorough and as a result of an annual evaluation she caught and identified a small mole which provided to be cancerous. I am so appreciative of the fact that she was able to discern this irregularity of skin color and take action to remove this cancer before it spread. I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Jeng and the staff of Spicewood Dermatology. Pros: Helpful and attentive staff more

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!! 10/16/2009

I had an apt today @ Spicewood Dermatology and had a wonderful experience. Dr. Jeng and her staff are very friendly they take the time listen and help people. I have been to other doctors that just want to rush me out of the room. Dr. Jeng explained in detail all of my questions and I am very thankful. I would recommend them to anybody. Pros: ATTENTION TO DETAIL DOCTORS more

Loved it! 6/25/2009

I've been going here for a few years and can't believe the bad reviews. Dr Jeng is WONDERFUL. I love the staff, had never once had a problem. They all seem efficient and friendly and I recommend it highly! Pros: Friendly, effiecient more

Best Dermatologist 5/11/2009

I needed some help with a skin problem and although Dr Jeng was not available, the staff squeezed me in to see Dr Thrash, who is also just great. I really appreciate their help and enthusiastic effort to do so as I was really in need. Pros: Always there to help Cons: A little far from my home, but worth the drive more

Great Experience! 5/19/2008

I called to get an appointment, but all that was available was with the PA, as the Doctor was getting an influx of kids back from college. The office staff were polite and conversational, very friendly women, and I was seen within 5 minutes of completing paperwork. Pros: great office staff, great doctors, medical problem resolved VERY quickly! Cons: there is paperwork? more

Great Doctor 4/1/2008

Just visited Spicewood Dermatology for the first time and had a great experience. Dr. Jeng was great and really took the time to understand my problem and recommend a course of action to help correct it, she never made me feel rushed and try to hurry me out like some doctors do. The nurses and office staff were polite and attentive. They got me into a room on time and made the checkout process easy and painless. I would recommend this doctor to anyone. Pros: great doctor, polite staff Cons: none that I can tell more

TERRIBLE!!! 3/10/2008

I decided to try Spicewood Dermatology because it was closer to my home. Big mistake. The office staff seems very unorganized and confused. It takes forever to get an appt. The first time I booked a 4:45 appt, and called to tell them I was running late because of traffic. I was rudely informed that if I didn't arrive by 4:50, they would lock the front door and I would have to reschedule. So I booked it to be there on time, and when I arrived they had nothing prepared for my appointment. I didn't leave the office until well after 5:30. Checking out is a nightmare. The front office staff (minus maybe one girl) has not been trained properly, if at all. They tried to bill me some outrageous amount when it clearly says on my insurance card that I only owed a $20 copay. The office manager came out to speak with me, and he was just as confused as his staff!! I don't even work at a medical office and I think I know more about insurance than he did. Never ever will I book an appt there again. Go to Dr. Feasel at Ladera Park Dermatology!! She is super sweet, her staff is efficient, and they actually call in prescriptions for you! Imagine that!! more

Not Professional- Awful Staff 2/20/2008

I have not had a good experience with Spicewood Dermatology. I really liked my doctor who moved over to this clinic, so I followed her. I had been seeing her for 3 years with her being at this office for 1 year. The staff is not pleasant to work with. On two occasions when I called, I was told that they were too busy and I would have to wait a couple of days. I had to call mulitple times to get a nurse to call me back and had to constantly follow-up on my prescriptions. Also when I received samples, they were expired. i loved my doctor but due to the experience I have had, I have gone elsewhere. Pros: Not much Cons: Unprofessional office staff. more
