Speedy Appliance Service

I called Speedy Appliance Service on Sunday and I never thought I would be able to even get service on a Sunday. The technician was very knowledgeable and very fair with the price. I landed up needing a new coil in my 550 model and he had the part on the truck and made the repair right then and there. I also had service within 1 hour. I highly recommend Speedy Appliance Service, and I am happy to say that I have now found my new repair company. It was a pleasure to not lose all my freezer food. more

Called, yes speedy to come to your house take your money and not repair your product. Called for a dryer repair, guy came charged $77 for initial estimate. Insisted on cash. Came back with part 2 weeks later in a personal car at night. Did repair insisted on cash . Another $485. Then said needed another $300 to clean vent before dryer could be tested. I had vent cleaned by another company for $65. Dryer made burning smell. Owner ken said it was not his fault. Refused to come back. more

They did get here quick. But the service was horrible, the service man did not seem like he knew too much. He tried shutting off hot water and broke off the handle. Told me I needed a plumber. After he left, I went to get the prints that were inside the washer... They were gone.. I called the office and told the serviceman took the prints. The serviceman came back and told me he was sorry, he took them by mistake. The serviceman then called me and asked me to tell his boss that I found the prints .. I felt really bad and didn't want to get him in trouble, so I called boss and told him that I found them at home. The owner is nasty, and unprofessional. They were suppose to give me a price on sat, and the owner called and said the serviceman had information and he would be in on Monday. I said forget it. I will order parts myself and my husband will do it in himself. So I paid 65.00 plus tax and another 14.00 for the broken part. Nice service right? Oh, forgot to mention the owner told me I was not a good person to deal with and hung up on me.. I would not recommend this service company. Horrible. more

The tech was friendly and diagnosed the problem and said I needed to call back after they got a quote on the part. The manager to whom I spoke did not enjoy being challenged on why a $25 seal kit cost $100 to me or why labor would be $175. Somehow this shouldn't cost $275 for this repair. more

They showed up at my house and said my washer needed a timer. Said they had to order a part, their website said their truck is 99% stocked and that was my experience in the past. I think the business was sold. Two guys came in a van, one guy waited outside. Anyway, he didn't know the cost of the part, said it would be in the next day. I called and was told I would be called back in a few minutes, no call. The previous day, a Sunday, I called two times hours apart and received no return call. Each time I was told they will call you in a few minutes. So much for the emergency service. I had to get someone else to fix my washing machine and never heard from these guys again. more
