Great massages in Syracuse 6/14/2011

This place is great. I have always had a great experience there. They know how to set the vibe to get you to relax. I think the hot stone massage is my favorite. It's heaven! The place is a bit pricy. To be honest, I have always asked for gift certificates there so I don't have to spend the $$. It's been great for birthday, Christmas, or Mother's Day presents. They have a wonderful atmosphere and everyone there is very friendly. more

My Husband And I enjoy this Spa so much we try to go every date night. We have used several different types of treatments and have enjoyed everyone of them. We count the days until we get to go back each month. more

amazing spa 2/9/2010

I have been too many spas and have consistently had great experiences at Spazend. I have had massages by several therapist including Angela and Tammy, and they are amazing. My teenage daughter recently had a facial and it was a wonderful experience. The spa is kept in great condition. The appointments are always on schedule. The treatments are excellent. The therapist are very attentive and skilled. I would highly recommend SpaZend. Pros: atmoshphere. talented staff. great experience more

expensive 35min pedicure 6/2/2007

Expecting a relaxing foot massage and pedicure from a pro and I experienced a sloppy quick quick 35 min from start to finish pedicure. If I had know I would have gone to the Asian nail place at the mall. It would have been cheaper. Never have I paid 45 dollars for such a lousy quick pedicure. Have had good experiences in the past but this was unsadisfactory... Pros: love the quite atmosphere Cons: the owner should have interviewed this person better more

Heaven in Syracuse! 1/9/2007

This spa is truly exceptional. I've been to spas all over the country and I have to say I've never been to a spa that I like more than this one. It's absolutely beautiful. I'd venture to guess that they consulted a feng shui expert because the feel of the place is so serene and inspiring at the same time. The therapists are incredible, very skilled, professional and caring. I just discovered this place in November (thanks very much to a gift certificate from my sister-in-law) and I've been there 4 times now. Each time was nothing short of perfectection. Last week I had the Thai Poultice Massage and the Nha Fruit and Flower Facial. Both were just fantastic. I can't say enough about this place. Don't miss it! more

Awesome Therapists, Incredible Treatments!! 11/16/2006

I experienced the Asian Hot Stone Massage at SpaZend, and let me tell you, it was AMAZING!!! My therapist was incredible! She was very skilled and I felt totally relaxed and rejuvinated when I left. I would highly reccomend SpaZend! They have heated tables, provide you with robes and slippers, and even have fresh water and ginger cookies waiting for you! This place is awesome!! The Ultimate Spa Experience!! They know what they are doing here 10/12/2006

SpaZend is an incredible gem in Syracuse! I've been traveling to Manhatten for my spa experience because I didn't know we have a spa of such high quality right here in my own backyard! I was at SpaZend last week for the first time and had the best massage I've ever had. The place is simply gorgeous and the staff very personable and caring. This is the spa you dream about... 9/29/2006

Absolutely excellent. I've lived all over the U.S. and this rates as the best day spa I've been to. The atmospshere is elegant, soothing, and beautiful (think: dim lights, Asian influence, calming music, beautiful treatment rooms, chilled lemon water and ginger cookies), and the treatments are fantastic. I go regularly for massages (including hot stone - SpaZend is the real deal) and always walk away feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and refreshed. This place is really wonderful, and I'm a tough critic! more

Great married "date night" spot 7/1/2006

While I don't have much spa experience, I knw a great evening. For our anniversary we started the night early with a foot treatment and a massage at spaZend. The place was very relaxing, and my husband and I were side by side in both rooms. We left there like new people. Relaxing? You bet. He is the macho type, and had never done this before, but says he could easily do that on a regular basis. The technicians were wonderful, extremely professional, friendly but sensitive to the atmosphere. The enviroment was calm, quiet, respectful, yet unpretentious. We are doing it again, and trying other treatments for my birthday! Can't wait. more

Syracuse's Best 3/13/2006

I go for massage regularly, and last week I had the best massage I've ever had at Spazend. The thai poultice massage is incredible! The poultice (a cloth filled with herbs that is steamed and applied to the muscles) has the most incredible scent, and I got to take it home with me! The massage was the smoothest, most fluid massage I've ever experienced, and I loved the scent of the oil too. This space is beautiful, I mellowed out as soon as I walked in the door. The staff was extremely friendly, and the massage therapist was very attentive to my comfort (made sure I was warm enough, the lights were dim enough, etc) I'm hooked.......spazend is my new addiction! So Dissapointed 2/28/2006

I have been to beautiful spas across Canada and Europe, and was so excited to find SpaZend. My husband and I a green tea wrap in the couple's room. The therapists were so unprofessional--they could not explain the steps of the treatment, they talked and giggled throughout, they dropped things a dozen times, and the massage was subpar to say the least. The recpetionist was very rude; put on a snooty air that did not suit her or the venue (and I mean, it's Syracuse, not Manhattan). We were terribly dissapointed and, although I desperately need to find a spa, would not go back. more

Pedicures 9/14/2005

I had a spa pedicure at Spa Zend and it was the best I have found in Central New York. I've been to other high end spas in the area, but none, except Spa Zend, took the time to give a proper foot massage. It was an hour and a half of exceptional relaxation. more

My Favorite Spa: And Why 8/8/2005

from the moment i walked in the door i felt like a queen in this amazingly relaxing spa. The decoration is fabulous and the staff is friendly, welcoming and filled with personality. The locker rooms were clean and beautiful and it seemed like everything had been setup just for me. (oh and dont forget to try the cookie in the waiting room;), the best ive ever had.) And that's not to mention the treatment! I've never had any massage as soothing and incredible as this one. Now i go all the time getting all my favorites. If you go (definetly do!) my favorites are the: hot stone massage, nha frruit and flower facial and the Krachap detox body ritual! Pros: environment, treatment, staff more
