Although having a root canal done is NEVER going to be a "nice" experience, Dr. Burros and Stacey were great. They made me as comfortable as possible, and kept me informed all the way through the procedure. Dr. Burros told me exactly what he was doing, and why, during the whole procedure. The office staff is great. Very friendly and helpful. Always willing to answer questions and they make you feel very comfortable in a place where most of us are anything but. They also get you in right away and allow you to save time spent in the waiting room by giving you an option to fill out your new-patient paperwoThe office staff was great. They also got me in right away. They allow you to save time spent in the waiting room by giving you an option to fill out your new-patient paperwork online before your appointment. Plus they will send you text messages to remind you of, and confirm appointments. I was very pleased with ever aspect of my visit. They even offer complimentary beverages everyday, and on Monday they have a vase of roses on the desk where you check out, and you are free to take a rose with you on your way out. So make sure you make your appointment on a Monday. I saw Dr. Shroyer. He is a very mild manored, soft spoken, patient man. He took time to answer all of my questions regarding my visit. I had a special case where he had to remove a screw that was used as a "plug" instead of having the root filled like in the case of a normal root canal. I am not sure why my previous root canal was plugged, but it ultimately allowed an infection to form that was causing me pain. For Dr Shroyer, it meant having to remove the plug prior to reworking the root canal. The plug did provide some problems for Dr Shroyer but again he is very patient and that allowed him to remove the plug without damaging my root. I have had several root canals but I felt that Dr Shroyer did the best job of any doctor I have ever had. I was very pleased with how gentle he was when he numbed my mouth before the procedure. He really takes his time to get everything right. He also uses the latest technology. He took x-rays throughout the procedure to ensure that he got to the bottom of the root which is critical to preventing future infection and pain. He worked really well with his assistant during the procedure. She was very experienced and made sure I had everything I needed throughout the procedure. Overall this was the best experience I have ever had in an office setting. I highly recommend Southern Arizona Endodontics to anyone. more

The greeting was warm. The assistant was elpful in preparing me. The Dentist was efficient and knowlegable. The financial person reported that the insurance covered more than expected. All in all the procedure went well done, painless and uneventful. more

My periodontist office sheduled my appt. I was able to get in quickly.When I arrived,I was scheduled for one procedure that day.I was relieved when Dr Smith agreed to do both.Dr Smith and his assisstant were both very pleasent and informative,answered all my questions,and made me comfortable during the treatment.The reception/clerical staff were also very kind.There were refreshments in the lobby that I was told to help myself to.I left with the information and prescriptions I needed.Very nice practice overall!! more
