High integrity and ethics 12/2/2010

Was expecting a root canal (on my way to Hawaii for a vacattion), but after a review of the x-rays the doctor chose the path of medication which worked out perfectly. This showed me a high degree of integrity and ethics. The whole experience was great. Thanks more

Not So Painful 12/2/2010

I had to have an emergency root canal and was very nervous after hearing my friends talk about how scary their experiences were with other doctors. I am happy to say that I never experienced pain during the procedure and was comforted by the caring staff. I was really impressed with the way the staff fit me in on an emergency basis and then they way they treated me throughout the process! more

Office & dental assistants were very professional. I especially appreciated the kindness and care I was shown by the assistants! The shoulder rub during the difficult parts is an excellent idea. I can tell by the questions i.e., music I would prefer, comfort level, that are asked that the management is on "top" of every aspect of the dental experience. I greatly appreciate the most modern/technological dental equipment. Did not care for the country western music in the waiting area. It is not a very good stress re-leaver. more

The employees were very kind and always asking if I was doing okay or if I needed anything during my root canal. I would definitely recommend Southwest Endodontics to anyone that needed treatment. more

Good Dr - Appt Experience not so good 11/27/2010

Dr. Smith was outstanding - good bedside manner (especially for a anti-dentist patient). I was referred by my dentist who got a "real" appointment (she asked at least 3 times if it was a real appointment or an emergency appointment) only to find out it was really an emergency appointment. So my 1:00 appointment turned out to be fake, it was 2:30 before I was taken back and then had to wait for the Dr. to finish with his previous patient. more

Virtually painless root canal 11/19/2010

This is the second time I have had a root canal done at this office. I was filled with anxiety but the staff made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Smith was very gentle and caring and was able to do the root canal on the same day as my consult. It was virtually pain free and as comfortable as it could possibly be. Afterwards, I needed only a Tylenol to deal with the discomfort. There is some tenderness, mostly at the injection site. If you have to have a root canal, this is the place to go. more
