The worst customer service coupled with defective workmanship. While you might feel attracted to their lo cost pricing scheme (and a scheme it is...), do not let a few dollars of initial savings lure you in. The price of repair and redo is not worth it. Check out their yelp reviews...they are a blight on honest homeowners during a build or remodel. more

Money no issue? 5/11/2012

My husband & I purchased a multimillion dollar home 4 years ago in San Clemente and started a major re-model shortly after. My husband saw the South Coast Screen & Glass location in SJC and gave them a call... We had both our showers doors installed by them. \r We were satisfied with the work HOWEVER .. We had problems only 2 years after with their doors and we CANNOT get them to come out for repairs, we have spoken to them on at least 5 occasions to see us, we are happy to pay them for repairs, they will not schedule an appointment to come see us... They are so busy installing NEW product they have no time to Stan behind their work... SCARY!!!!\r We are now having difficulty finding anyone to repair a door that is about to fall out!!! We are looking a having to buy all new doors for our bathrooms because of their shoddy workmanship... \r \r Go ANYwhere but here to get glass shower/tub enclosures!!! more

Beautiful shower and mirror 1/11/2012

Saw these guys on the way to Pacific Sales and stopped in because I saw they had a sale going on. I was very impressed with their knowledge of their products and turn around time so I had them come out to do my shower. They were able to measure that same day and I had my shower just a few days after that. They also did a mirror for over my bathroom sink that looked great and was done very fast as well. Great Work, Fast Service 8/3/2011

Ive been in the Orange County area for over 30 years and have owned many properties in the area and I used to use a lot of other contractors until I found these guys. Ive had nothing but a pleasant experience with South Coast Glass as they are very nice and helpful when I call or come in to visit them and are by far the quickest service ive ever had for mirrors and showers with outstanding quality to add to that. Phenominal Job 7/21/2011

Recently I had a shower done by South Coast Glass and it turned out beautiful. Not only that, but it was in just a few days after I ordered it when other shops quoted me 2 weeks to get the project done. I have worked with some of other glass companies in San Juan and have had bad experiences for the most part, but I have never had a problem with these guys, definitly going back for when I have to remodel. more

Excellent work and service! 6/5/2011

Recently, I did a whole renovation of all the bathrooms in my house and I had the damnedest time trying to find a decent company to come out and do some mirrors and showers for me. I tried shopping around at some of the other glass shops in my area and they were all very sketchy to deal with, however when I stumbled upon these people, I had nothing but a pleasant experience. They helped me pick out exactly the right kind of glass for my specific rooms and did it all in the timeframe that was promised. I will definitely be going back for my next remodel. more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! 10/13/2010

As part of a larger order- shower enclosure &window glass replacements- I had them replace a small bathroom screen. When they came to install I wasn't home. I found the screen sitting against the wall. When I tried to put it in the window, it didn't fit. They refused to send someone out to take care of it. Said they were too busy. So, I brought it to them. When I picked it up and brought it home NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE TO IT! Again, I brought it back and was assured they would fix it and call me. I never got the call. Two months later I stopped by to pick it up. NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE TO IT! With a sandwich in one hand he told me they were just too busy to do something so small but did offer to have his guys do it while I wait. He was actually offended when I said NO! more

To save them the time and expense of a free home estimate, I simply called them with the dimensions and specs for a quote. They said they would get back to me, but never did. more
