My First Year at Somerby 9/7/2011

One year ago today I spent my first night at Somerby and this is my "thank you" for a wonderful year. You've surrounded yourself with an excellent staff, all of whom are a joy, pleasant and competent. Let's just say I love it here and enjoy telling people so! more

My Somerby Experience 7/26/2011

My experience living at Somerby has been wonderful. I have made so many new friends and still have my friends I grew up with. I am taking a watercolor class once a week that I have enjoyed very much and I am in an exercise class three times a week and this has given me more energy to be able to do all the other things that are offered here at Somerby. more

Life at Somerby 7/26/2011

I have lived at Somerby for 3 years and I find everyone to be very cooperative, polite and pleasant. The food service is very good. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job. One of the many things I have enjoyed and appreciated is the creation of the Resident Wildflower and Vegetable Garden. i would recommend anyone to come and live here. more

Living the Spark at Somerby 6/28/2011

I came to Somerby 5 ½ years ago and thought my life just couldn’t be much better. Well guess what? It is better! I’ve met many new heroic people, made a couple of good, new friends and take part in the wonderful activities – bridge, bingo, theater, flower arranging, exercise classes – or I can enjoy quiet reading time in my own apartment. It’s the biggest favor I can do for my children – they know I’m happy, cared for and, best of all, I don’t have to live with them!!! more
