i stumbled into So Much Yarn because i could not tear my eyes away from the beautiful pieces they had hanging in the window, and i continue to go back on an all-too-regular basis! they have beautiful and well-priced yarns, all of the supplies you'll ever need, and, most important, a helpful and courteous staff who are great teachers. my personal favorite teacher is logan, but they are all terrific and what they do. they have classes, private lessons and group lessons and whenever you take a lesson you get a 10% discount on anything you purchase that day. this place will be the end of me, and i love it! more

Lovely store and great sales 8/30/2005

My knitting co-workers and I are more than a little glad that this shop is too far to walk to on a lunch break! (We need to be saved from ourselves.) The shop is beautiful, the staff are very friendly, and there are lots of choices for yarns and supplies. I would like to take a class there someday because a rival yarn shop owner said that So Much Yarn's owner was an excellent teacher. I stopped by the other day and found yarn I'd been looking for and saw some other terrific yarns on clearance at 50% off. I hope this charming shop stays in business for a very long time. more

Novelty yarn central! 8/18/2005

So Much Yarn does indeed live up to its name. One can find everything from cotton in every hue of the rainbow to yarn with "bling" (sparkles). They even carry suede yarn! The owner is an excellent knitting instructor (they offer lots of classes) and the shop is a supportive one for learning new techniques. more
