I brought my son and his friend to Sandusky for spring break and needed a room for overnight. I booked this in advance and got a great deal. I wasn't sure what to expect, especially for the price. I was so pleasantly surprised! The hotel looked brand new and was very clean. It has a very modern layout and our walk in shower was an added bonus. The staff was very friendly, even allowing us a late check-out so we could sleep in after a busy day at Kalahari water park. I would definitely stay here again! more

Sleep Inn, Sandusky was convenient to Cedar Point. There was an indoor pool that looked very nice although we didn't have a chance to use it. Our room was very quiet and comfortable. The hotel was clean and best of all, no bedbugs! more

This was a fantastic hotel to stay at. I have been to many hotels in the area and this was by far one of the better ones that I have stayed at. The room that we stayed in was well worth the money. I would recommend this to people who wanted a great place to stay for a great price! more

PERFECT 11/22/2010

I was anticipating the usual budget motel in a so/so location, but I was pleasantly surprised. The motel was located in a nice, new retail/restaurant area. The front desk staff was very friendly and competent. They called my room after check-in to ask if everything was to our liking and if we needed anything. The room was clean, and everything was in excellent condition. An in-room safe was provided. The swimming pool and hot tub were well-maintained. I whole-heartedly recommend this motel to others. It was perfect. more

Enjoyed our Stay 11/10/2010

Let's first start off by saying that this is a very pleasant hotel to stay at. Located near all the places a family would look to go to if anything was left at home. Walmart across the street, tons of restaurants, and easy access to the highway. Definitely a good place to stay. It didn't matter that Cedar Point was a few more miles the road than the other hotels but hey, we all get stuck in the Cedar Point traffic eventually. The biggest satisfaction in this trip was the fact that I booked it through expedia for a whopping price of $10. Thanks for reading, enjoy your stay. Reg more

Definitely going again 11/8/2010

The Sleep Inn was very nice. Very clean , comfortable rooms. Very nicely decorated and had a nice lobby with free internet service--which my teenage granddaughter loved. A nice pool and hot-tub. What was nice is the pool is opened till11 oclock which the kids loved. The free breakfast was nice--everything was ready at 7:39 when we got there---juices, hot chocolate, coffee and tea. Waffles, bagels, pastries and toast. Different kinds of fruit---very nice. It was nice not to wait in a restaurant line for a table, then wait for your breakfast. The employees were very nice and friendly. Would definitively go there again. more

CLEAN 10/15/2010

Stayed here for Bike Week. It was good for the price. The room was small but it was clean and that was more important to me then the size. Staff was friendly and seemed efficient. The location is pretty good, close to restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again. more

Won't be staying here again! 6/19/2008

We just stayed at this hotel and what a huge disappointment it was. We had stayed here several times in the past, but it has been about 5 years since we have been to the Sandusky area. We immediately thought of Sleep Inn because of our past experience, but it has changed alot. The beds were horribly uncomfortable, the pool was gross. It smelled in the pool area and the water looked dirty and when it was complained on and the staff seemed clueless as to what was going on. Everything seemed to be out of order or did not work. They advertise free wireless internet, however, no one that brought laptops seemed to be able to get online at all. When going to a simple sight such as Ebay or Google, the page would come up Page Does Not Exist! We all know those pages exist. I talked to 2 other guests that had the same issues with the internet. The ice machines on 2 out of 3 floors was out of order, the coffee machine was out of order for most of the horrible free breakfast that they provided. We got down to the free breakfast only an hour after the 3 hour breakfast began and they were almost out of everything. It wasn't until we were almost finished eating what we were able to pull together some 30 minutes later, that they finally filled things back up. I can't even explain how utterly disappointed we were because we had very good memories of our past stays at the Sleep Inn, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this will have been our last stay at the Sleep Inn on Milan Road. Pros: None Cons: Dirty, Things Broken or out of order, Horrible Experience more
