We recently hired Skyline Windows to install all new vinyl windows. In the past, we had tried Window World. Bad experience. After waiting all day, their employee arrived at 4pm to begin the job by himself. The guy went around smashing/ripping windows out to set the new ones in place for the night. There was glass everywhere. When the job was finished, I noticed the caulk they used was actually watery runny. I think they tried to use something cheap and unacceptable. They finally replaced the caulk, but we are still picking up glass. So I know a good job when I see one. From the beginning, our experience with Skyline was totally different. The men arrived right on time in the morning and were finished by evening. I noticed very quickly that the employees had great attitudes and a clean, neat appearance. Even during lunch break, none of them were standing around smoking or using foul language, etc.. Instead of smashing windows out and leaving glass everywhere, the guys carefully cut and removed the windows from the exterior of the house. Personally, I would prefer a little less caulk than was used on the outside, but that shouldn't be a big deal. The work was done well and everything cleaned up before they left. Even the window glass was thoroughly cleaned and spotless. Skyline may not be the very cheapest, but you get what you pay for. At least, that was our experience. I would highly recommend Skyline to anyone in great confidence that the customer will be pleased with the high quality of service and a job well done.
Pros: Great employee attitude and appearance, Prompt, Neat job, Clean at finish
Cons: maybe excessive caulk, maybe not cheapest
