Sixth Ave Aquarium

This is nice clean tropical aquarium. It's located on Clement Street. It is quit busy especially when school is out and you see all the children going to visit the store. They have a great large selection of tropical fish and fish tanks. They carry many assortments to decorate your fish tank also. I enjoy their atmosphere because it makes you feel like you are in a real aquarium. more

This store has a variety of fish and fish related products (fish food, tanks, plants for your aquarium, etc.) The prices of the items are cheaper than most places. The service is alright, they know fish, and the place looks pretty clean. The place is pretty easy to find, but parking is not. Overall I would give this place 4 stars. more

This store has been in the neighborhood since I was a child. They have a lot of fish tanks filled with fish and parrots and hamsters for sale. Now I take my daughter here and she just loves it. They also have all the food supplies and toys for pets. For a small place their prices are really reasonable. I like them because they are not like the big pet stores. you get a lot of help and attention at this store. more

Sixth Avenue Aquarium is located in San Francisco off of Clement St. If you live in San Francisco you know how parking is so I need not explain. But for those who don’t be prepared to wait and drive a while to find one. All worth it though. I’ve been shopping here for a few years now and the prices are one of the best here in the Bay Area. They have two floors of fish and supplies. The service is ok. more

The Sixth Avenue Aquarium offers a great place to shop to fill your fish, and fish supplies needs. They offer a great place for a variety of your fish needs. Probably the largest fish store on Clement, and a very helpful staff. If your after choice this is one of the better fish stores in the Richmond. Parking is very difficult, so it's better to take public transit. more

The Sixth Avenue Aquarium has some of the nicest fish I have ever seen! It's calming just to walk around the place and look at all the different varieties of fish. My favorites are the big fish. Hopefully someday I'll get to buy some from here! Parking is usually difficult on Clement Street. more

I must admit that I've never so much as bought a goldfish from this place. So if you're a fish enthusiast, this listing will probably do you little good. However, for everyone else out there, hopefully you'll find this useful. The Sixth Ave Aquarium is a really cool place to visit. If you are ever in the Richmond neighborhood in San Francisco, you must stop in to see it. I used to live in the neighborhood and always took out-of-town visitors there. They have some of the most exotic fish I've ever seen including sharks, lobster, starfish, sea horses and jelly fish. They have two entire coral reef ecosystems in the store. Adding to the atmosphere is some sweet electronica music played over the loudspeakers as you peruse the fish. Young kids love to visit there too. more
