Worst

I have been disappointed more than once by Sir Walter. I bought my 2008 Chevy Cobalt at the same time my family purchased a 2008 Chevy Impala. We both got our cars serviced there.

Great Experience 7/5/2011

Had to buy a car because mine suddenly died. Went to Sir Walter and dealt with Philip. The car I was looking at online was already sold. Philip showed me other similar cars. It was hassle free and understood that I was buying on a set budget and did not try to sell me more than what I was looking for. A much more pleasant experience in buying a car than the last time I bought one. I would highly recommend Sir Walter and ask for Phillip. Would definitely seek him out again. more

Great Experience 11/11/2010

I recently purchased a used Impala from Sir Walter Cevrolet, and I'm 100% happy with the experience. We had a great sales rep (ask for J.J.) and the process was smooth and simple. I would highly recommend anyone in the market for a new/used vehicle swing by and talk with them. At no point did I feel presured to make a decision or like I was being treated unfairly. Two thumbs up! more

Sketchy 7/7/2010

My '09 Cobalt recently stopped starting so naturally I had it towed in for service. Sir Walter promptly provided me with a rental and told me it would take two days to fix and the warranty would cover everything. Pros: They will work hard to get your money in a sale! WORST DEALERSHIP IN RALEIGH!!!!!!!!!!!! 4/24/2010

I have never been so disappointed with any dealer than I have come across. The salesman were totally uneducated and unprofessional and had no idea what I was capable of purchasing. I was treated like a low class individual and made to feel like I couldn't afford anything they had. George Anderson, the Sir Walter "owner," was a complete moron and was rude to me during my attempt to purchase a fleet of Chevrolet products for my current business. I will do everything in my power to spread the word about this awful dealership and try to show other how unprofessional and uneducated this car community was. If you want to buy a GM product DO NOT SHOP HERE! Mr.Anderson and his bunch of inadequate car "salesman" had no idea what I was capable of purchasing and treated me like a common idiot. Thanks for nothing! I bet you will be shut down by years end. Pros: .........NONE! Cons: ALL OF THE ABOVE! more

Good place to buy a car 5/18/2009

I bought my SUV here in 2005 and have loved my vehicle. When we first arrived, we actually had to go and seek someone out to help us out. They are a little to laid back for our preference and could use some pepping up. Once we had someone helping us the process went smoothly and we were in and out with a new vehicle in a very appropriate amount of time. more

Probably the nicest Chevy Dealership in the area 2/5/2009

I have bought 2 vehicles from Sir Walter- one at their new location, and one when they were downtown. The new location is absolutely beautiful, and the service manager there is always helpful. The often have current year program cars that you can get at a great savings. more

Great experience for a first time buyer 1/30/2007

As a single woman buying my first car I found myself a bit intimidated while shopping around. However, the staff at Sir Walter Chevrolet put me immediately at ease. They were both helpful and informative, but I did not feel pressured into buying. I drove off the lot confident that I had not only gotten a great deal but the perfect vehicle for me! Cons: none more

I recently had one of the best experiences in buying a car than I have ever had! Sir Walter treated me with respect and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of for the first time on a car lot. It was a very smooth and pleasurable experience. more

Definitely Recommend 4/30/2006

I have bought my last 3 vehicles from Sir Walter Chevrolet and brought all of them to their service department for regular maintenance. I enjoy going there. The staff has been very accommodating each time I have come in for service, offering me a ride to work when I need it and keeping me informed about my vehicle during the day. I appreciated the discount club card and thank you letter I recently received in the mail as a result of my years of patronage. more

I have taken my car here several times for oil change and service. I have always been pleased with the pricing and friendly people. Another great addition is that they will wash your car after the work. They are the best auto service/repair and car dealership in town. Pros: Quality Service, Competitive Pricing, Great People more

When it came to purchasing my new car I was faced with so many different options. I was lucky to come across Sir Walter Chevrolet. They took the hassle out of buying a car and made it very painless. I didnt have to spend my whole day at the dealership negotiating. They have a huge selection and very competitive prices. I researched several models and dealerships and kept coming back to these guys. If you are looking for a car buying experience that you will enjoy, this is the spot.
