I have known Peggy and Chris at Sir Theodore's for over 20 years. I cannot say enough nice things about them personally and professionally. My Shih Tzu, Yoshi, was a regular customer every Friday, and she stayed with them when I traveled. I believe that she probably would have stayed with them full time if I had let her! Yoshi is no longer with us, but now Jodi is a Sir Theodore regular! They are the best groomers in the business, and truly care about each of their four-legged clients. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else, and I highly recommend them! more

I have two very timid Poddles and have taken them to the so called discount groomers in town. When I picked them up, they seemed to be terrified by the experience. Not so at Sir Theodores! They were always happy and unstressed. Their cuts were beautiful and they were unscathed by the trip. Chris and his mon are very good with the little beasties and the price is definitly worth it. more

I have been not only a long time but very satisfied client of Sir Theodore's. I first took my Miniature Schnauzer to Sir Theodore's in 1998. As she aged, Chris and Peggy were very gentle and caring with her and groomed her beautifully. I'm now taking my Yorkshire Terrier to them. I say it is his home away from home because whenever I take him in for grooming or boarding, as soon as I let him down he runs over to see the dogs that are there and then runs to the back where he knows he will stay for the day or for boarding. There's no shaking or quivering in recognition of where he's been brought. The facility is always clean and fresh smelling. I know I can always leave him with complete confidence that he'll be loved and well cared for. more

We just moved back to Nashville after 10 years away, and my ""mature"" dog who was a pup when we last lived here started wagging his tail when we walked back into Sir T's. He got a great trim, and had a fun day not being in a cage while he waited his turn and to be picked up. I JD am Sir Theodores Cleaning Service . These are great people to do business with. I help them in keeping it clean in the grooming rooms in keeping the towels wash and helping bathing the dogs. I enjoy in helping Chris and Miss Peggy in this business also meeting the people that comes in to get there dogs. Seeing there happy faces when they see there dogs when they have been groomed and the dogs are very happy to see there owners when they come and pick them up. Great place to leave your dog for a week or weekend to with special rates for this service. I have know Chris and Miss Peggy now for many years and they are good people to meet and to get to know and work for. Bring your dog by and let them groom them while you shop . You be glad you did . We love SIr Theodore's. Our 9 year old Bichon and 4 year old Havanese go in with tails wagging and come out looking like Best In Show winners. The only place we would consider taking our dogs. Easy West End/ Belle Meade access. They are very talented at the precision cuts required for the Bichon. The cost is justified - you get what you pay for! I was trying to find the best groomer for my new dog and this Groomer was highly recommended to me. It would have saved me and my dog lots of pain if we had not gone there.. It cost $65 for my small cocker spaniel. At the first glance, I thought they had done a good dog. When I got my dog home, I found that they had shaved his cute tail and cut the end of it. He also had been shaved too closely elsewhere which required a trip to the vet. It took him over a week to recover from his experience there - plus a $130 vet bill.\r \r I'll never take my dog there again. more

This place is overpriced! My Aunt took her dog 2 months ago and was charged $45. This time we took both of our dogs and were charged $65/each. Then to make matters worse..I asked them to only make my dog's (terrier mix) hair all the same length and to keep his ears the same length. Instead, he was completely shaved (the summer look) and they cut only one ear. Now...I can understand accidently cutting one ear but at least cut the other so that they are the same length. Then I had a better chance not noticing it! Don't take your dog there.. I will never take mine back!!! more
