Very satisfied and happy with SHINE MY HOME Cleaning and Handy Man Services! I used them to paint/polish my patio floors and to clean my house floors (carpet, tile and wood). The technician did an amazing job on re-coating the concrete floor of my patio. I should post a picture for it. This is my first time seeing this type of work. Abslutely marvelouse! I've been using this company for about 2 years now. I like their professionalism and reliability, not to mention their very affordable prices and the warranty! Last year they did excellent DRY cleaning for all my carpet and rugs, they also cleaned my ceramic tiles in the kitchen and dining areas. This weekend they cleaned air ducts in my house, and they were very knowlegable, nice, and punctual! I highly recommend them in DFW area. Thank you 'SHINE MY HOME' for all you've done for us. What a complete waste of my time. Paid $200 upfront for a Groupon - they would never answer my calls. Someone finally sent me an e-mail to schedule an appointment the next day (Saturday) and I cancelled longstanding plans to be there then they didn't show up or even call. Waited several more weeks with no contact, then let Groupon try to contact them for a week. Finally got a refund. Don't waste your time or money! more

This cleaning service is a joke. I bought through Groupon also. I had to keep calling to schedule, after about the 3 day of calling Multiple times I got someone. I scheduled for someone to come @ 8am on the morning they were suppose to be there a young lady called me @ 7:58 saying she would not be there and to call the service to tell them she could not come. She then continued to tell me that she has never been to the office or trained and that someone comes by and drop off cleaning supplies and so on. I called the office for 2 days trying to reach someone, when I finally did the lady on the phone told me she was new and she had no idea that the person did not show up. I was done then and am asking for a refund from Groupon. I am only giving a star because i cant put 0. more

Bought a groupon for this company. Company was virtually unreachable for over a week. Left MULTIPLE voicemails and couldn't get a call back. They finally called me back and I scheduled all 3 cleanings. Today, they no showed the first appointment and was unreachable YET AGAIN. All I could get was a busy signal for over an hour. There were 440 of these groupons sold. I feel sorry for the rest of the people. I called groupon today and had them refund my money. Avoid this sham company at all costs. They obviously aren't equipped to handle business. more

Just like the other reviews, I wish I could rate them less than 1 star. I called several times and finally got through to someone to make an appointment. Well, the cleaning person showed up and the work that was done was terrible. I paid for a 2 hour cleaning service and all she was able to do was clean the floors on my 1st floor, clean my half bath, and one full bath. She did not even clean the upstairs. What she got done in 2 hrs I could have done myself in 30 minutes. I have been trying to call back to complain. No one will return my messages. I also emailed with no response. I have been trying to call again and now it says the voicemail is full. \r You CANNOT get anyone to call you back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have no idea what customer service is and there is no follow through. more

I didn't want to give the one star. There should be a choice for NO star or minus a star. They were available to take my reservation for a carpet cleaning, but that was it. I had to call and confirm the night before to which I got a call back saying they had me on their schedule for the next day. So my husband and I MOVED three rooms of furniture. Our couch was standing vertical in our kitchen and my dresser was in the bathroom (you get the idea). Then we waited...on a Saturday. Our appt was from 10-12pm. I called about 11:00 to ask for an ETA and got an answering machine. I called at 11:45 irritated and got the answering machine. My husband called at 12:15 angry...answering machine. They NEVER SHOWED UP, never called. You can imagine our frustration because our house had been turned Topsy turvy on our one day off that week. It's Monday and they still HAVE NOT CALLED. This was a groupon purchase and I've contacted them to let them know they need to remove these people from their deals. I can not express this enough....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! more

I cannot even give them one star! Not even a half of a star!! But it says we have to give them something....A month ago I bought a cleaning pkg for myself for my birthday. I am a single mom of two children, one having physical disabilities. So I thought I'd treat myself to some much needed help. I've called, left mags, left emails, and nothing. After calling group on to inquire about this, they said they'd contact the company. Still no call. So I called again, and their new msg after hearing that the mailbox was full...is they had technical issues &would call back. Blah blah. I'm getting my money back and I would highly suggest for people to listen to these red flags getting posted all over their sight. These reviews are honestly here for a reason. They obviously cannot handle any amount of work load outside their minimal basics. My gut says if you cannot handle the phone, them you can't handle the job. Don't think I would want them in my house now. more

They do a terrible job! The guy said the carpet is wet but when it dries up you will see a difference. My carpet got dried and it look exactly the same way. He carries an old machine . I do not think it works but just gets throws water at your carpet. A waste of money! Terrible job he did. more

Shine my home cleaning services took a wonderful care of my oriental rug. I called them because my dog had urinated on the carpet several times. My wife and I tried to clean the carpet, but the odor just got too much to handle. Shine my home cleaning services sent a technician over to pick up our rug. We received the rug several days after and where very amazed because our rug did not smell bad anymore. Shine my home cleaning services did a wonderful job restoring our rug to its original condition, urine free. I thank you very much and would most definitely call you again. more

Thank you so much for your hard and honesty work. just to let you know that These guys came out right away when our pipe leak flooded the house and went under the wood floors. They even used a wireless sensor system to show how much water was left in the walls as the house dried out. We could even go online and look at the read outs. The insurance company accepted their revised estimates, which were much more in line with the real cost than what the insurance company originally quoted. They helped us a lot and did a very thorough and professional job. We had almost no mold coverage in our policy, but did not need it since they did the job right the first time. I have heard from friends about getting a company to come in cheap and try to dry out their flood, but later they had big mold problems because the original job was not done right. These guys really seemed to know what they were doing and had good people and the right equipment to find the water hidden in the wall, with some type of advanced scanner, then keep a record, through a third party monitoring company, to prove the conditions and the result. They really helped us a lot. Helped us get lots more in settlement dollars from our insurance company, too. Which was much more fair and closer to the real costs? more

I had a living Social voucher for this company. Left 3 voicemails to have them call me which they never did. Was finally able to get someone to answer and she was very rude. She stated they return all voicemails. Wanted carpets cleaned before thanksgiving so booked for Monday 11/14. I was told that it would cost $5 extra if they have to vacuum and pet stains are extra. Of all the cleaning companies I have used, I have never been told this. The day of the cleaning we were called and said tech was sick and we could not rebook until mid December. I called to speak with a manager and another very rude phone person just kept saying manager wasn't there and if he doesn't call back to call Living Social for our money back. In the conversation was told he was manager over ALL the technicians which mean they have several. This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. Dint book with this company ever! I am sure with this kind of attitude their quality of work is substandard also. Have put in complaint with Living Social and will check with BBB also. People need to be aware of this company and their shortcomings. more

Their pricing was similar to another group I checked in with, but they have a really good ""after care"" program, which is why I went with them. Theirs is also a dry process, rather than wet, and I prefer that. The carpets look tremendous and I paid even more to have them take my persian rug out and clean it. It was brought back in two days as promised, and looks tremendous. They are returning in 60 days to re-do everything (in the event the stains resurface, which they typically do) - at no charge! I hired Shine My Home to clean my carpets - please don't make the same mistake. I called and made an appointment and a technician was suppose to show up sometime between 9-12am. I spent half the previous evening moving my furniture outside and nobody showed up, or even called. At 12:15 I called and spoke with the receptionist who had no idea what was going on and asked if she could call me back. She called back and told me there was a computer glitch and asked if they could reschedule for the next day. I told her I was unhappy with the service so far but agreed to the following morning. Never once did she apologize for their enormous error. Again the next morning, I waited at home all morning and again, no one showed up again. At 12:15 I called the company and recieved a recording that the office was not even opened that day. This company is a mess! Can't keep appointments, rude, don't know their own hours. To this day I have not heard from them. There are a lot of carpet cleaning companies in this area, call any of them except Shine My Home. more

Shine My Home is the best carpet cleaning company I've ever used. I purchased a coupon for air duct and carpet cleaning for my house. The technicians were very informative, respectful, professional, and helpful. They cleaned my air duct system and carpet floors. They removed some of the furniture from the way and made sure to my satisfaction before they left. I will recommend them for all my friends, and will use them again in the future. more
