Shiatsu Rincon

This spa is up Rincon canyon nestled in the foothills. The place is absolutely beautiful and so relaxing! It feels wonderful to spend the afternoon here walking in the gardens, drinking tea, having a soak in the AMAZING hot tub/ japanese bath, and getting treated by John or Judy. Both are true healers who have repaired me many-a-time. Now I come just to relax and re-center myself. It is a truly unique place. more

Absolute bliss! Soak in a private o-furo (Japanese bath) looking out to a serene garden, have an hour of the best shiatsu you've ever had (I didn't like shiatsu before I had Judy's shiatsu) and get acupuncture from John to take away and ache or pain. I started going when I hurt my shoulder, which they fixed, but now keep going because I get such a sense of well-being and health from the treatments, the experience of being in such a gorgeous, tranquil place and the healing energy of John and Judy. I have gotten a few massages from Judy at Shiatsu Rincon over the years. It seems like each one is better than the last actually. For only 85 dollars it feels like you're getting a full exotic vacation. The spa is beautiful, Japanese style, etc...and the hot bath that you soak in before the massage is divine. Then you're relaxed and the massage begins. Judy is great at finding any and all tension and making it disappear. I have gone to her with serious injuries and had them literally healed in one session and I've also gone just looking to relax and achieved just that. It's the way you feel when you leave Shiatsu Rincon that sets apart from other massages. You feel transformed really--like a new person, free of stress and pain and ready for the world.
