I have had contacts since I was 9 yrs old. I also own glasses. In order to save money, I do not use my contacts all the time, as they are disposable. I have never before been on a time frame to buy more contacts, instead I know that you have to renew your prescription every year. It is May and I knew I needed to hurry up and buy new contacts before the August deadline so that I could use my insurance benefits to the max possible (my insurance covers either an exam or 6 months supply). Since I purchased a 6 month supply more than 6 months supply, they said that not only could I not buy more contacts from them but they will not give me anymore ""refills"" but they are glad to give me my prescription. In other words, even though I paid for my annual exam and it is not expired, I cannot buy contacts.
