Shane Co. exceeded everything we wanted from a jeweler. We purchased both engagement rings with them and could not have been more impressed. We worked with Kevin and Kinga, both were incredible! Not once did they pressure us into anything, in fact they made sure were thoroughly educated through every step of the process. Both of them went far and beyond what we expected. They were so excited for us and treated us as if we were their friends! We needed one of the rings asap so they rushed it without any hassle. I couldn't believe the kinda of service I was getting for what I was paying, incredible!! I wish I needed to buy more rings just so I could go back. more

The make me feel like I am not good enough to shop there 8/2/2010

The only Shane co. I have been to is this Tigard location and I do not recommend it to anyone. Our experience as new shoppers for our wedding was quite annoying indeed! They royally messed up the size of my husbands ring, then denied doing so, then told us they could cut the ring they gave us and add some metal to it. They went on and on about making the ring work instead of getting us the proper size. The manager got involved at this point and we got another ring, but it was again the wrong size. It took months for them to get their act together. We had to go directly to the vendor to alert them of what Shaneco was doing with their product. Shane co. acted like we were trying to cheat them out of a good ring when it was completely their fault. Each time we go back to get that ring serviced the pretense in that place is so thick you want to run out of the building. The only reason to go back now is to get the rings cleaned (which is part of their lifetime warenty) and the free coffee. I have never felt so strongly about a bad sell as I do with Shane Co. Tigard. Please take your business to people who are not snobs or who give you fake smiles while sizing your pocket book up by the way you dress and look. lot of commercials/ads but don't know anyone that went there 8/31/2009

I can't stand the ads this company plays on the radio?! The guys voice (Tom) is so boring/monotone!! He reminds me of the teachers that I had in high school that would practically put me me sleep while I was listening to them. I have to change the radio station every time I hear his voice. I was shopping for engagement rings about 2 years ago, but no one every recommended that I go to the Shane Co. That says something I guess. I ended up going to Costco and was very happy with my purchase (so was my wife). Costco's diamond rings appraise for twice the value that they sell them for. Pros: not sure; average jewelry? Cons: annoying ad campaign on the radio more

Diamonds 4 ever 9/20/2007

Diamonds are a girls best friend and so is the Shane company. I have upgraded my little diamond to over a carat and the ladies here are so informative. My husband was very impressed when he bought my first one here. Love it. more

So much selection! 9/19/2005

This is my favorite place to buy my jewlery. When I got married we look many place and this being one of them so much selection and not such a bad price. Helpful and caring staff! Many people I know have shopped her and were very pleased. Nice clean store. And plenty of parking PROS: Nice jewlery.. CONS: None.. more

The jeweleries there look at bit cheesy, i guess. there were a lot of selection at the store, many i haven't seen before. the styles are a bit blah, and so far i only pick one design that i really like for a necklace. It's was pretty much disappointment to me because i've heard so much about them through the radio. more

Great Selection 6/8/2005

I absolutely enjoyed shopping for my wedding ring here. The employees were so patient and helpful. I really liked how I could choose my diamond and choose my ring. I got to choose the quality and size of the diamond that I wanted and they placed it in the rings I was looking at so I could see what it would look like. They do have unique and one of a kind styles. more

Cheap prices, cheap diamonds 12/22/2002

Shane is good for cheap diamonds, but the quality of the stones matches the prices. They are the kind of diamond place that sells diamonds that look fine on paper, but the cuts are poor and the 'look' of the stone is second class. However if you are looking for a big stone and you don't have a lot of money this is a good place to go. Frankly some people just want a 'big rock' - Shane is for them. If you are looking for a high quality stone, look elsewhere. Pros: Lots of diamonds, Cheap Prices, Decent settings Cons: Low quality diamonds more
