Seven Doors

So, those of you that know me KNOW that I don't wear make up. Because of that, my skin has to look as close to flawless as possible au nautrel. If it's been awhile since you had a facial run over to the 7 Doors Salon on Sumter in downtown Columbia. I had been there previously for a haircut and was happy. After signing up for their newsletter I got a message about a 45 minute facial deal for July. $36!!! And it would have been a deal at twice that price. The owner did mine and she was so thorough in explaining the condition of my skin, all the treatments she was doing and how to maintain at home without spending a ton. Even the products she uses are incredible. It was just what I needed and I left glowing. Run, don't walk to 7 Doors and get an appointment. more

I came in with an awful cut from another salon, and Stephanie made my hair look great, without taking off much more length! She gives the best scalp massage I have ever had, and she's conversational. I'll definitely be a regular! more

Greg does my hair, Stephanie my facials (and soon, my waxing). Great service by everyone and amazing knowledge of products. I'm always at a loss about makeup, but I've had my hand held and love my look!! I get lots of compliments thanks to this great salon. I'm very pleased and look forward to many good years. more

I was a client of this salon, my stylist left about 6 months ago to a new salon. I have been contacted numerous times via phone calls and emails from the owner trying to solicit my business. I do not appreciate her talking down on my stylist of many years as well as the other girls who left, whom I never knew on a personal level. This type of conduct from an ""owner"" of a salon is very unprofessional. I was still looking forward to purchasing products from this business and unfortunately because of this behavior I am no longer giving my business to Seven Doors. more

Greg did my hair recently, and I had it colored for the first time ever. First, my haircut is perfect! It's been almost 6 weeks and it's grown out so well, I've not been plagued with ""bad hair days."" And my color! I went to Seven Doors when i was referred by a friend. It's a little tucked away but very convenient to downtown and USC which is good for me. My first impression was great, it was a nice, clean, small salon with a really friendly staff. Greg did my color and it looks amazing. Probably the best highlights I have ever gotten and so much cheaper than any color I got back home. I think the best sign though is that every woman I saw leaving the salon had great color and cuts too! A salon full of great stylists really puts you at ease when you go to a new place. I give Seven Doors 5 stars, for their great work. The only thing I would complain about is that the woman on the phone was a little rushed and rude, but everyone has a bad day I guess. I went to this salon for 5 years while I attended USC. I literally got several compliments a week on my cut and color. By the end of my senior year 90% of my friends also went to Seven Doors. I love love Erin! She does an awesome job. A lot of my friends went to Tiffany too. She is great! I have been to every single stylist in the salon at one time or another (Erin books up fast) and I was ALWAYS satisfied. Now I live in Nashville, TN. I spend twice as much on my cut/color and haven't been satisfied. Next time I am in Columbia I am staying an extra day so I have time to go get my hair done! You won't be disappointed!! I was sent in by a friend recommended to Tiffany. She gave me an amazing hair cut, was interested in me, and made me feel important!!! everyone in the salon was happy and friendly!!! I definately recommend Tiffany!!! Go see her she is awesome!!!!!! more

I went for a facial after they were recommeded by a friend. It was probably one of the best facials I have ever had. I went several more times and the quality was the same each time. They are consistent with their services. There was no sales pressure to buy but the products smell so wonderful you can't help but to ask. The session was timed well and I never felt as if she was rushing. Everyone there was friendly.\r \r If you are planning a treat for a loved one you should send them here for a great spa experience. It is less known than Logan Raye but the level of quality and service is far superior and cost about the same.\r \r The location is downtown so parking can be a challenge. Arrive early and park in the paid garage next to the Marriott to make it easy. Pros: Staff, skill, atmosphere and value! Cons: No parking lot but a garage is across the street. more

On a whim, I called and was ""worked in"" for an instruction session on how to apply makeup, the appropriate colors for my skin tone and age, and - in general - an update on how to present a professional appearance for an upcoming position with a prestigious local law firm. The staff was warm, responsive to my needs, and - most importantly - I was not pressured into accepting or purchasing their offerings.
