Best hair cut I have ever received! I got the groupon for 2 hair cust for $25, it was an increditble deal! I have been going to Todd now, who cut my hair the first time and he is great. He spends a lot of time on my hair and I really can tell the difference with getting my hair cut here and any other salon I've been to. I went to a girl at Ulta that completely messed up my layers, they were so choppy and un even and just aweful! Todd has been working to fix them and now after 4 hair cuts my hair is so much better and looks more symetrical and natural, he really did fix the mess that was left behind. Also, the salon itself is beautiful, the atmosphere is nice, it's very modern and chic and relaxing, the products are wonderful that he uses and doesn't try to sell me products I don't need. I will be a customer for life! more

Every time I come here I sit in the chair and tell Sergio I have like 3 different ideas and ask what he thinks will be best (yes, I'm that annoying client). Anyway, we talk it out and I always leave here looking Gorgeous!! I love it here! \r Also...Karen gives the best scalp massage! more

Best Salon EVER 5/8/2012

From the moment you walk through the door, the staff make you feel very special. The girls take your coat, offer you a drink and seat you with your stylist. Sergio sits with me, discusses my hair, color and plan for the appointment. As I sit with my color, the girls offer me drinks, magazines and over all comfort. \r One time, I was going to run out and put quaters in the parking meter and the girl at the desk ran out for me! Amazing service!\r You get a head and neck massage with each shampoo and a style to die for to top it off. \r The price is overly fair for the service you get.\r \r Pros: Customer service, clean, modern, top of the line products, massage\r Cons: NONE!\r \r As far as only having "one" product to choose from, to me, is a great thing and shows that Sergio stands behind what he sells. Paul Mitchell products are top of the line and in other salons, there are a million products to choose from and no one ever really has a clue on what they are selling. more

Many Compliments 2/21/2012

The highlights that I get from Derek at Sergio's are AWESOME! Every time I get them I get so many compliments and people want to know where I get them done. The cut is great too and Derek always has stylish suggestions. Derek always takes his time to makes sure everything is perfect. more

The BEST money I ever spent on my hair!!!! 2/21/2012

I've been to Sergio's many times and always go to Derek! He is such a talented stylist! Derek really takes time to listen to what I want done and offers great suggestions. Derek has had a lot of unique training and is very technical. I always leave there looking stylish and completely happy! I get compliments on my haircut and highlights almost every week! I am very happy with this salon and always recommend it to family and friends! more

Exceeded my expectations 4/11/2011

The entire team at Sergio's are professional, friendly and helpful--they listened to my needs and developed a strategy to address my (many) hair concers. My hair was beyond damaged, color treated, frizzy, unmanageable. Seriously bad. I had breakage, roots, greys--\r Sergio's approach to hair is a mix or art and science--he is extremely knowedgable and patient. I could not believe that the hair in the mirror was mine--I almost cried. Sergio and his team literally transformed my hair with gorgeous color, a brazillian blowout (a miracle for curly unmanageable hair) and an amazing cut. I love my hair---LOVE--I haven't said that ever. I would reccomend Sergio to everyone--although it's tempting to want to keep him a secret. They also do these really cool and fun colorful "feather extensions" that you can wash and style--super cute and unique---all of the stylists had them in and I loved them. I juust had to share my experience and thank them again for exceeding my expectations. T more

Undoubtedly the best! 7/7/2010

I've spent my whole life trying to find a place that would give me the attention to my hair that I desired. I am a guy and from my experience stylists have always been just whatever about my hair. I'll try and explain what I'm looking to do and end up with something not much different then a high & tight or something. I thought I had found a good stylist and I sort of did prior to stumbling upon Sergios. His name is Kevin and he's based out of the Super Cuts in Cranberry on 228. Although I'm not going to him anymore I gotta drop him in here. He's good too but too far away and while he is good he's not "THIS GOOD" Sergios, has got to be without a doubt the best place to go to in the city. Sergio has experience working directly under the creative director of Paul Mitchell. The people he has hired in his store are professional and passionate about what they do. Try it! 11/12/2009

Just driving by Sergio's does not do it justice, you need to go inside. Inside, it is updated, clean and modern. I have been getting my hair cut by Sergio and am very pleased. I also have gotten a temporary color treatment from him, which added shine and a subtle enhancement of the tone of my hair. I think he listens closely to what you are asking for and also offers his own suggestions. The front desk staff seem to take great pride in making sure you have a great experience. It is a Paul Mitchell salon so they only carry those products which could be a draw back if you like to experiment but Sergio doesn't push the products and the products I have tried work fine and are a little less pricey than some brands. Pros: great customer service, scalp massage/shampoo, clean Cons: carries only one product line more

The stylists @ Sergio's are very well educated and really care about your goal! They completely transformed my hairstyle and the price wasnt outrageous! i would recommend this salon to anyone who is in need of finding a stylist who really does know how to give you what you want!! more

I've been to many different salons in the past and have never had an experience like the one at Sergio's Salon. He is a very talented. He took the time to consult with me on exactly what my goal was with my hair and was very focused on me. I left there feeling like a new woman. Oh! and the shampoo was the best one that you will ever recieve! The room was so relaxing and the massage that you get is out of this world! You will never go back to your old salon! guaranteed!! Pros: talented staff-great atmosphere Cons: I havent found one yet more

Sergio has a lot of training and knowledge. He really takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. The most talented stylist in the burgh. I had been to every high end salon in town and he truly is the best. \r The other stylists seemed to do good work too from what I could see. Pros: great cut and great color Cons: pricey more

Good but you pay for it 4/23/2008

My hair turned out great but I think the price was pretty expensive compared to prices of other salons in the surrounding area. The woman that did my hair was very friendly and although she was quite new she did a really good job. I appreciated the fact that sometimes they provide appointments after normal business hours so that I could get my hair done after work. more
