After not being notified once of any changes, I showed up on my Wedding day to be told my makeup artist was not there and my hairstylist would be doing my makeup. There were multiple issues with my makeup including no primer which led to cracking foundation, poor lash application, and flaky lipstick that was fixed by applying gloss which only caused horrible transfer. My hairstylist told me the makeup artist (Chelsea) decided to extend her trip - she made the conscious decision to not be at my appointment when she was otherwise scheduled to be back on time. Then the receptionist lied to me and told me the makeup artist had an emergency which is why she was not there. My mother and I have been leaving reviews where possible to prevent others from having a similar experience.. and on The Knot - Sergios blatantly lied in their response to her. They told my mother she wasn't there and that they told me Chelsea wouldn't be there a month prior, that they offered free trials which I refused, that I insisted on the gloss I was unhappy with and then proceeded to say 'let this be a lesson' to you and that this was my fault. I have zero respect for a Company who won't take ownership for their actions. My experience was bad enough, but how they have responded after the fact is most concerning of all. I wish I had been given this information before my wedding day to make an informed decision but they deprived me of that opportunity. I am disgusted at the unprofessionalism but sadly feel this will only happen again as the owner is the makeup artist's husband. I have read other reviews where customers had very similar experiences - hair and makeup artists no showing or being late and then treated extremely disrespectfully if they express dissatisfaction. Please be cautious about trusting Sergios with any day that is important to you - they will let you down and then attempt to make the internet think you are lying about your experience.
