Marie is exceptional. She handled several scrambles with seeming ease, but I'm sure they were challenging. She supported us so very, very well. All the staff, Dawn, Kadena, Rosa, and Loida, were all great. They all took care of Dad as if he was their own. Their updates to my brother, my sister and myself were all very much appreciated. I live on Cape Cod in MA, about 6 hours from my parents, Arthur and Shirley S. who live in Teaneck, NJ. We were introduced to Marie Diaz, Director of Operations, when my dad was leaving rehab to return home. I can’t explain the peace of mind I feel knowing that Ana Cardenas is taking care of my parents’ everyday 7 days a week. It is a comfort for me knowing that she is with them every morning to get their day started. All the caregivers from Senior Helpers are trustworthy, honest, patient, loving and kind beyond the call of duty. This can be attributed to Marie’s experience, insight, knowledge and human understanding of seniors physical and emotional needs; finding the right care giver for the right family. Ana has been with my parents through hospital emergencies, and stayed with them through all circumstances, just like family. I call her cell phone whenever I feel a need to see how things are going or when I can’t reach my parents. Every morning, Ana makes my dad incredibly handsome and gives him wonderful massages that help him get ready to face every new day. Ana prepares their meals, makes their bed, does laundry, grocery shops, organizes thing[s] at home, assists with medication, takes them shopping, to Dr. appointments, rehabilitation, exercise, walk in nice weather, takes them on all errands, wherever they have to go to keep them living safely at home. Sometimes, my mom has doctor appointments in NYC and Marie Diaz is always there for us. This winter was a rough one with rain, wind, snow, hail, etc., my parents were cared for everyday. Ana and Marie sure that they had food in the house and all was safe and sound. Words cannot explain how safe that I feel, knowing that my parents are in Senior Helpers hands every day, seven days a week. My parents and I thank them all very much for their kindness and security that Senior Helpers give our family. more

Then my friend gave me a senior guide that she had picked up, and inside I saw your ad for Senior Helpers. I made the phone call that really counted. My first impression of Senior Helpers could not have been better. Ms. Marie Diaz [Director of Operations] responded immediately to my call and was already gathering information to make the right fit between the home health aide and my Dad. Then she personally came to my home to discuss all my concerns and needs for Dad’s care; and already had some home health aides in mind that she thought might work out based on our needs. Marie was always available by phone and always attentive to our needs. We hired Ms. Rosario Schneider, and it has been a wonderful experience. She is a caring, well-trained home health aide. Rose has a great sense of humor and an upbeat personality, which is so important for my Dad, who loves to have a good laugh. I never had to worry when Rose was with my Dad. She took excellent care of him. I am sorry to say that my Dad can no longer stay at home, but will be entering the Veterans’ Memorial Home in Paramus by the end of March. I just want to end this letter saying, I would highly recommend Senior Helpers without hesitation to any family in need of these type of services. Your company is most fortunate to have Ms. Diaz representing you – I know I feel fortunate to have met a person of her caliber and high standards. more

Sonia has shown great kindness and compassion in the care of my Mom and I feel confident every day that she will be safe in her care. This allows me to go to my job every day safe in the knowledge that my Mom is well cared for. Jessica, my health aide, provided care & concern for my every need. She was prompt in arriving each day and always greeted me with a warm "good morning." She performed her duties with pride & care. She is a wonderful & dedicated person. Thank God you have her. Marie, your Director of Operations, is also an asset to your group. I want to let you know how pleased they are and I am with the quality of the people that you have provided to assist them. All of the people you sent were well qualified, and also very friendly and sensitive to the needs of my parents. In particular, Jessica and Anna were exceptional. They were not only very good Caretakers; they genuinely cared about my parents and treated them like family. My parents grew very fond of both of them and referred to them as “saints”! I also appreciate the responsiveness and flexibility that you personally have shown when we had special requests, sometimes on very short notice. You always came through when we needed your help. My husband required 24 hour in-home care ssistance. Due to unforseen circumstances our need was urgent! Senior Helpers, within two or three days, was able to provide just the right individual to assist my husband and bring order to a household that was in panic. The courtesy, respect, compassion, and understanding of the situation and your graciousness in follow-up conversations will always be remembered. You and your staff were wonderful to work with. My mother, who relishes her independence and can sometimes be negative about new situations, loved every one of the caregivers. They were reliable, nurturing, intelligent, and trustworthy. My brother and I were not only impressed with the daily reliability of the service you provided, but in a couple of emergency situations (hospital stays) you and your staff were a welcoming source of comfort.
