Chef Seco is Amazing! 6/16/2010

Chef Seco is Amazing! My friends and I go on an almost weekly basis and are never disappointed. Of all the places to go in the village, Seco's is one of best and best kept secrets! Pros: Very Homey, Fantastic Service, Great Margaritas Cons: ...If I find one, I'll let you know! more

What a great find! 5/11/2010

The food was great, from the appetizers to the main dish. We always loved the spinach enchiladas from the old restaurant and celebrated many special events there. I am so glad that we can continue that in the new restaurant. Find it even though the Kirby construction is in the way! Pros: former Jalapeno's chef, food excellent, spinach enchiladas Cons: none, hidden out of sight more

Fantastic brunch 11/10/2009

Their 10:30 Sunday brunch buffet is fantastic. I skipped the omelet station and fajitas and went straight to the good stuff. The shrimp soup was AMAZING. It had the right balance of tang, sweet, and savory, plus the most excellent corn and fresh shrimp. I have dreams about this soup. Pros: The soup, the service, well... everything really Cons: Tight squeeze? I'm grasping for straws here. more

Best Corn Enchilladas! 1/21/2009

This is a cute little restaurant, that you probably wouldn't see if you didn't already know it was there. They have very friendly staff, and the owner is usually there and will come greet you and ensure that your food is tasty. It's a great family amostophere, as well as a quaint and quiet hangout. They have excellent corn enchilladas and great desserts! Pros: Reasonably priced, good food. Great atmostophere. Cons: Limited parking. more

One of the Best Brunches in Houston!!! 9/8/2007

I read about this place in the paper, and had to try it after finding out that owner Seco was the former chef at Jalapenos on Kirby. Pros: Awesome Corn Enchiladas,Great Staff!! more
