Geeze finally Scoop is listed on Citysearch... I know of this place for a while now and it carries the funkiest flavors ever! To name a few: Bacon Caramel (uses bacon fat to make the caramel), Chocolate Wasabi (reminisence of mint and chip), Lemon Ginger, Black Sea Salt, etc... But please don't be stunned by the flavors, the owner really knows how to put all the right ingredients together. You would never imagine how well wasabi and chocolate go together. Tai is also a very nice guy and you can chat with him about how he came up with the funky flavors. It is also very cheap too! Pros: Funky and Unique flavors, price Cons: parking more

Hella good ice cream! 5/30/2007

This place is great! You get to try as many flavors as you like and not feel bad about it. It's also hella cheap and really, really good. Betweeen me and my roommates, we had eight different flavors including vegan black tea, mango pineapple, and pumpkin ice. All were great! more

Ever since the pinkberry froyo craze, I've been craving something a new shape and form of frozen delight. And someone told me about Scoops so I decided to give it a try. I fell in love with this ice cream shop...Not only do thay have cheap prices, but they had the most interesting and thought-out flavors (like the Guiness Tiramisu or the Chai Irish Creme). It's privately owned a young entrepreneur so the service is very friendly! Pros: flavors, prices Cons: gelato quality was not the best more

BEST INNOVATIVE ICE CREAM - IN THE US 5/12/2007

This place is incredible. I live in NY now and when I return to LA I make sure to go to scoops. His flavors are more innovative than anywhere that I've ever been. His prices are so reasonable as well - it's hard to not get a schoop of everything he has.\r SOME ICE CREAM FLAVORS:\r currant basil\r fig wasabi\r vanilla chocolate\r passion fruit lavendarvelvet cake\r brown bread\r pistachio\r coke pineapple\r pumpkin tiramisu\r \r I wish the texure of his ice creams had a more 'luxurious' texture (gelato like). The texture could use an improvement - but that's still not enough to loose a star. 5 STARS for scoops.
