We found out about School of Rock, Seattle at the Sasquatch Festival in 2008. We signed our son up for a week of summer camp. He's been there ever since. He started with no guitar or stage experience and now plays electric guitar, bass, and sings solos. Beyond the too cool, awesome venues the kids get to play in and experience (Vera Project, El Corozon, Nectar, Crocodile, etc) the staff at SoR is really what makes the experience so incredible.
I will never forget waiting to pick up my son and having one of the instructors kneel down, take both my hands in his, and say with the utmost of sincerity, "Thank you so much for bringing Max to SoR. We really enjoy having him here." The teachers at SoR are passionate about music, about kids, and about sharing their passion. If all teachers were this involved and this caring about thier profession, all schools would be a better place.
In short, I cannot say enough good things about SoR Seattle. Rock on!
