I'm satisfied! 4/22/2016

I have used Schomburg Heating & Cooling for a couple of projects over the years. About 8 years ago, Greg put in a new heating/cooling system in my house. It was a very high-end job and he got all the bugs worked out. It took a while, but he did everything he said he was going to do. Another time, I had a bad coil that leaked and they came out and took care of the problem. This last time, they cleaned my ducts and the main lines. Justin did a good job for me and he didn't leave a mess or anything. I know the owner personally, which is why I went to them. Schomburg Heating & Cooling is a trustworthy company. I have never had any problems and I would recommend them. more

About the Mitsubishi Electric Heat Pump 4/21/2016

For years our downstairs was so cold in the winter that I never used it much. I heard about the Mitsubishi Electric Heat Pump. I do not know how long this has been available, but it would have made so much difference to us. Greg Schomburg came out and made sure we had space for it to be on the wall. He sent his crew out to install it, and then came out again to make sure we understood how to work it. We are very happy with our new Mitsubishi, and really thank Greg for working with us. more

Great customer service. 12/15/2015

I have been with Schomburg Heating and Cooling for about a year and a half. They recently did a maintenance checkup on my furnace which is part of their annual service plan. I have had no problems with it, and they did not find any. They just scheduled the appointment, came out and did the work, and were out the door. The service is straightforward and they are easy to work with. The technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The prices are fair. I have been happy with them. more

Schomburg Heating & Cooling has been excellent. They installed my furnace, and maintain it. Twice a year, in the spring and fall, they come for a maintenance service. Booking the appointments and receiving the service is very easy. I haven't had any issues with them or their product. Their prices are very reasonable. I have been very happy with them. more

A young man from Schomburg Heating & Cooling came down and changed out a pulley assembly for a dryer. He had to order a part -- we needed it quickly and he got it quickly. The work he did was fine. We had no problems. more

I appreciate a local service company. 9/3/2015

Schomburg Heating and Cooling is very persistent even when they run into trouble. I had two different issues with my unit, and the technician they sent was able to resolve both of them. They sent the same person for both services and that was the joy of working with this company. It is nice to know and trust the person that you are working with; and my technician had been trustworthy, respectful, and professional. Since he resolved the issues, I have yet to have any problems. The prices were competitive with other electrical companies. more

Schomburg Heating & Cooling was recommended by my coworker who knows them for a long time. I had a minor issue with my furnace and initially the serviceman wanted to guide me through to see if I could fix it myself. So I liked that part of their integrity where they try and help you out before coming to your home. I still decided for him to come to my house, and I would use them again if the need arises. more

We've been using Schomburg Heating & Cooling for the past year and are very happy with them. Everyone on their staff is very nice, responsive, and helpful whenever we call about having an issue. They do routine maintenance for our units and we're always impressed by the level of their professionalism and communication. We've never had any problems with them whatsoever and would recommend them highly. more

I always call Schomburg Heating & Cooling to help me with my A/C system because I receive great service and I have never had a problem with them. They are very responsive and they are able to solve any problem in a timely manner. This was my first time using Schomburg Heating & Cooling. The kid that came by to do the service was excellent. We got along really great. He was easy to talk to, and it felt just like I was talking to my own son. It was just a wonderful experience overall and I will definitely call them back for future heating and cooling services. more

Timely and efficient 8/14/2014

Overall, Schomburg Heating & Cooling is a great service. Recently, they checked on a unit they put in last summer. We had a slight issue with the unit in the beginning because it wasn't correctly installed. The unit has been relatively good after a few services. Recently, we noticed a lot of condensation on the pipes so we called them. We called them late at night, and they were able to come the next day. They took care of the problem pretty quickly. The filter was a little dirtier than usual due to some cat hair. We haven't had a problem since they came out. more

Not totally satisfied with the service. 8/13/2014

Our fridge went out and we called Schomburg Heating & Cooling to repair it. I was not totally convinced the service tech knew what he was doing. He found the fan motor was out so he ordered a replacement. When he was trying to figure out how to install it, it appeared he didn't know what he was doing. He was trying to modify the part to fit, and he cut the shaft off without measuring the length. When he got it in, it didn't work, therefore we were without a fridge for another day. He then ordered the OEM part and got it to fit. I was not totally satisfied with the service. RESPONSE FROM Schomburg Heating & Cooling: We apologize for the issues that transpired during your service call. When we originally received the wrong part we should have immediately sent it back and ordered the correct part instead of trying to make the incorrect part work. In the future we will use this call as a case example for making sure our customers are getting the best service possible. Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review. more

It was good 8/8/2014

This was my firs time calling Schomburg Heating & Cooling. They gave me a condition report on my refrigerator and gave me the information I needed to decide whether or not to invest in fixing it or getting a new one. He came over, checked out my fan, and thought the freon was getting low causing it to heat up. He told me what it would cost to replace it and what I'd be getting into. It was a good experience. more

Very pleased with the service 7/31/2014

My experience with Schomburg Heating & Cooling was very positive. Greg was responsive and very helpful. The technician that arrived was quick to diagnose the problem correctly and repaired my air conditioner right away. It was a short experience but all in all, went very well. This was my first time using them and I thought prices were great. more

Great people. ..Great Service 7/24/2014

I wanted to thank Greg and his team for a wonderful and easy experience. We have been using Schomburg maintenence plan for years, but this year a new AC unit was needed. Greg took the time to come to our house and look over our concerns. We chose a unit that worked for us and we have been more comfortable than we have in years. Thanks for Justin and his crew. Justin is always personable and they were fast and left everything clean. Great Job team all around!! more
