We see Dr. Arn every year for our annual exams( we have 4 dogs!) for the last 10 years. When Dr. Arn is not available, we will see other vets in the hospital since we trust them all with the care of our pets. They have always been honest and given us great service for all these years. The staff is always friendly to my family and willing to help us with our needs. My wife and myself have recommended them to our friends for years and we usually run into each other on appointment dates! This is really a family-feeling business in las vegas! more

I have recommend Desert Inn AH to alot of my friends over the years, and one had emailed me recently and asked "" have you seen the negative reviews of our hospital on line?"" I admit I had not ever seen reviews, so we all took a look and could not believe what we saw! The first thing that struck us was how horrible peeple were saying that great hospital was! We all agreed that negative nancys were behind it and decided to let people know the TRUTH! Personnaly I have been with Desert Inn and Dr. Mong and Dr. Lingwall for years and have always had the greatest experiance!! more

My poor dog went through a year and a half of misery and my wallet suffered to the tune of thousands..and thousands. When I finally fired Dr. Arn and took took my french bulldog to the vet referral center they figured out in 20 minutes that the only thing she needed was a dosage of prednisone ten times the amount given to her by Dr. Arn. She was fine the very next day!!! This level of incompetence is not acceptable. RUN AWAY from these idiots and save your dogs and pocketbook. more

Your staff obviously has issues. It is hard to believe that such an educated group of Veterinarians cannot figure out how unpleasant their hired help is. I went here on an emergency visit. During the days my dog had to stay there, I could not get anyone on the phone to give me a straight answer. He seemed to be passed on from vet to vet. They could not give me a diagnosis, yet sent him home. I had to go back! This time a real young Doctor named Taylor I believe told me that my dog of twelve years was going to need a transfusion and he most likely would not make it through the night! I told her I was not leaving then. She said I was not allowed to stay there all night!!!!!! I loaded my dog up and drove as fast as I could to Salt Lake City UT where they have an excellent emergency center. They told me my dog did not need a transfusion! He was treated for a full week in emergency. He had a huge tumor on his intestine, which Desert Inn Animal Hospital did not find after a couple thousand dollars!!!! They told me my dog would not make it through the night. This is the worst Vet hospital I have ever encountered! If you love your pet, I highly recommend you DO NOT go here for any services. Pros: None! Cons: treated rudely, poor vets, horrible, horrible everything! more

This place was horrible! I brough my dog in for an emergency visit. Over the next three days, he was passed on from vet to vet. No one could tell me anything. He was then sent home, just to collapse later that night. Brought him back in that night on an emergency visit again. They said they needed to run all the same tests over again that they had just did three days before. more

I was told Dr. Arn was the best for ear cropping but boy was that getting misleading. Worst customer service ever as well. Took forever to call me back, in fact never did. WON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!! more

I have used this clinic for three years. We have spent several thousand dollars on our animals at this clinic each year. But after an experience last week I will never return. I found a dog running down the middle of a busy four lane road. I caught her and noticed she had a wound on her side. I took her to the clinic to have her treated. She had a tag on and the clinic ladies called the number on the tag. The child that answered said they had given away the dog but would call the new owner. The clinic WOULD NOT TREAT the dog until this person called them. I sat for two hours and no one called. I left the clinic and went to another vet who treated her and found she HAD BEEN SHOT by a gun and needed surgery. How could Desert Inn Animal Clinic refuse to treat the dog when I said I would pay? The only answer I can think of is that they are more concerned about having to deal with a potentially angry owner rather than the well being of an animal. Unbelievable. The other negative is that the clinic focuses on treating pure breed dogs: we do not need more dogs in this world - we do not have enough families for the dogs we already have. Find a clinic that is more than just a business to make money!!!! Pros: Advanced diagnostic equipment. Cons: The business is motivated by money only - not the well being of an individual animal. more

DIAH is the best animal hospital in las vegas. Dr. willey and Dr. Parantela are the sweetest docters. They care about my conserns about my animals. Its a very clean and well maintained hospital with caring people that are there for my pets and my needs. There boarding area is amazing. There one of the only places with air conditioning in the boarding areas. In vegas you need that. Over all there the best in town, with the most love for animals that ive seen... This is one of the most advanced groups of Veterinaries in the country not just in Las Vegas area. I had moved here from Texas and didnt have a Vet. I left one clinic and my dog was just about to die from congestive heart failure, so I called my old Vet from Dallas and he called Dr. Ard on the phone and then called me back and told me to get to the DI Animal Hospital as fast as I could. Pros: Veterinaries that know the latest medications and are caring more

We brought our terrier here for a difficult birth, and the staff was wonderful at 3am!!! All three puppies developed Parvo and thanks to DIAH, all three survived and are thriving. A miracle to say the least....we love them. more
