Great company for heating and cooling systems 3/12/2010

We just had a new heating and cooling system installed. Sandium was competitively priced and delivered an outstanding product. Our PGE bill dropped more then 50%! The installation is clean and we don't even notice when the system is on - while your home is comfortable at all times. Pros: best in town more

I got 7 quotes 10/14/2009

- none was as detailed and complete as Sandium's. The system was reasonable priced. The installation was great. Had a little problem after a few weeks which got fixed the same day. Thats the way to do business! more

From the beginning of the bid process through the entire installation, all employees of Sandium took the time to answer our questions in a manner we could understand. In addition, the installation crew did a top notch professional job and went the extra mile on the fine details of the installation. It was 10pm and I was freezing. Called Sandium - they sent a technician within an hour. He diagnosed the problem and explained the options. I was already considering a new furnace and chose a new Trane high efficient model. They installers came out the next morning and replaced the heater. The way this company operates is really impressive. All the technicians I met were clean cut, knowledgable, friendly. I am very happy with the service received. Shockingly good 12/5/2008

I read other people's reviews before calling Sandium to take a look at my flaky furnace. They seemed to be well liked so I gave them a call.\r They were quick to schedule an appointment and showed up exactly on time, the even called me 1/2 and hour before the appointment so I could meet them at my house rather then the standard 4 hour wait window other vendors make you sit through. The technician was super knowledgeable and quickly fixed the problem, he even explained the whole situation to me in terms that I could understand. The cost to make the fix seemed very fair and they were very thorough in documenting everything that they did.\r I would totally call Sandium again if I have any HVAC issues and totally recommend them more

The estimate was detailed and fair, the work was efficient and on time, the advice was factual and professional. The expertise, especially providing a detailed load calculation, duct design for the project, and the professional integrity are impeccable.\r \r It is not normally my habit to write such reviews, as I expect that jobs I contract for are well done. This case, however, deserves special recognition.\r more

A great company! My furnace broke. They had someone out within 1h. The service man was very knowledgeable and courteous (he even put shoe covers on to protect my carpet!). He found the problem rather quickly and fixed it. The next day I received a call from the service manager to check if I my furnace is working properly and if I am happy with the service provided. And YES I am. I will definitely use Sandium again. more

I was surprised how fast and effective there technician was 1/30/2008

Sandium came to my house to troubleshoot a wine cooler. I was surprised how fast and effective there technician was. He found that the controller was bad. I was surprised again when he told me the repairs would be more than a new unit. In the past the technician always want to do the whole repair and charge a lot for it. But Sandium told me it would be more cost effective to buy a new one and explained how i could install it myself. They were very honest. and Finally he did not charge me for the temporary repairs to my cooler to save my wine collection. Thank you Sandium! more

I've got to tell you, you saved our Christmas! 1/17/2008

I've got to tell you, you saved our Christmas! Me and my family are very greatful to you and Sandium. I called your company on the morning of 12/24, as my furnace wasn't working. I thought that we would have to go to find warmth at a friend's house for Christmas, how can you expect to get a new furnace installed on the day before Christmas? I was afraid that I would have to spend $2K for a new furnace, and probably any other company would have made me buy a new furnace. Not Sandium, though, you guys are honest and straightforward. Your technician, Jacob came out and was able to fix the furnace, though it took him almost two hours, it really wasn't easy. Jacob is a very experienced and professional technician. Again, I was ready to pay for a new furnace, but you saved me the expense this time. \r I'll definitely have you guys replace my furnace in a few months, and thank you again!\r Mac I.\r more

At the initial consultation I was told that I am buying a finished product (equipment and professional design/installation) and not just some pieces of equipment. At the time I was confused what the estimator was talking about but when they started the work I quickly understood. A team of three excellent professionals worked diligently for several days. Highly recommend. Polite, knowledgable, customer oriented! 1/10/2008

I am very pleased with Sandium. My heater broke. A service man was at my home within 1h of my call. I was told by another contractor that I needed to replace my furnace. Sandium's tech fixed the problem. Instead of paying 2k for a new furnace I paid $130 for the repair. Thank you Sandium for a job well done. Pros: Excellent communication.
