  • San Joaquin Community Hospital/Adventist Health is a 254-bed acute care facility serving the city of Bakersfield and outlying communities of Kern County Key services include: cancer care, cardiology, diabetes and wellness education, 24-hour emergency services, home health, imaging, inpatient and outpatient burn care, maternity, mobile childrens immunizations, neurology, orthopedics, stroke treatment, surgical weight loss and Adventist Health Physicians Network clinics. The hospital is staffed by 520 affiliated physicians; 2,066 employees and 280 volunteers..
