Kim has been cutting my hair for awhile now, and she does the best job with me. It's nice when I call for an appointment and can always get in pretty quickly. I just had her do my highlights and they turned out beatiful. My hair color is now perfect, and I'm taking my daughter in to have Kim do hers. The price wasn't that expensive compared to some places, and she was very quick, I was in and out in an hour and a half. I also like the fact that while my hair was processing, she did another customer's haircut, but still paid plenty of attention to me. I like a hairdresser who knows how to multitask! I have had my nails done at multiple places and nothing compares to the job that Kevin does each and every time. I've come across other great looking nails only to find out that they go to Kevin, also! It is always a friendly atmosphere and I am never left sitting around waiting. I won't go anywhere else... I have been to this salon through many owners in the last few years. I have to say that Kevin and Kim have made the enviornment more fun than ever!!When your there you feel like a friend, that your actually enjoy your company. What a better way to spend sometime then with people who enjoy your company!! They do wonderful nails and me saying that is a big deal I am so picky and pick anything apart and I now have a nail shop I won't complain about, my husband is so thankful :)I highly recommend Salon U4EA it's a total blast the enviornment is wonderful and you will always leave happyy!!!! I saw a co-workers nails and HAD to go in. She told me Kevin was the best nail artist in town and she was not kidding! My nails have never looked better! Not only do they look beautiful but they LAST and LAST and LAST. I went three weeks without a fill and they still looked great. Don't go anywhere else. When I first went to see Kevin he was a poshe nails. Kevin did a fantastic job getting my nails back to normal. I was going to a different nail tech, when a friend recomended me to go and see Kevin. I had a nail fungus so bad that I almost lost all of my natural nail. Since August of last year Kevin has been great with my nails. He understand how tender fingers can get when they are bad. Kim and Kevin are great people to have a hair stylist and a nail tech. They have a great place that is very comfortable, and they talk to you not as if you are just a client but as a friend too. I was introduced to this salon through Kevin, he had been doing my nails elsewhere until he and Kim took ownership of Salon U4ea. Of course I had to follow him because there is no one else who does my nails like him. My favorite things about this place are: * You can't beat the price... for all services. * I get the solar nails and I love* the fact that he has around 40-50 colors to choose from for the tips (and white too, of course.) This is the colored powder, not polish. (They also have the colored tips for new sets, I prefer the powder because I can change the color every visit) Other salons usually either do not have any more than 5 colors to choose from, or they use polish for the same effect (doesn't look as good.) * He uses a special tool that makes the line between the tip and pink perfect. I have been to other salons where they do it by hand and...you can usually tell. * You get a new set every time so they always look fresh. * He does it in record time without any pain. It usually takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on how much time I waste picking my color ;) * He always humors me with my requests (I am pretty picky about my nails.) * When I do get my brows waxed, Kim does a great job for cheap. * The owners (Kim and Kevin) are always super friendly and nice. * You can usually always get in the same day. I have been a client of Salon U4EA since the day it opened about 6 years ago maybe even more. The salon recently changed owners and it has been a very pleasant change. Kim and Kevin are very friendly people and quick to please. Salon U4EA is a great value especially in this economy. Yesterday I called in for a pedicure and Helen was suggested. I was able to see Helen same day for a fantastic pedicure that lasted an hour and only cost me $25.00. That is a deal. I booked Helen out every 2 weeks for the rest of the summer. Debra Pascua is an awesome colorist . Just call in advance for Debra as she is so established with clientele you do need to book in advance. Debra however is worth the wait if you want an expert colorist. Debra also does my nails however I have seen on many occasions Kevin's work and it is very nice. Again the price is very good. I recently have had Kim wax my brows and again a very nice job and charged me just $10.00 !! If you have a thick forest on your brows check price :) mine are kept up. I have seen many cuts Kim has done while I am in the salon and they look very good. Kristin also works at the salon and has a very established clientele base as well. Very very cheerful and fine work as well. In closing Salon U4EA is definitely a good choice for services. I work down in the Pearl District in the heart of all the trendy salons and would much rather spend my $$$ at Salon U4EA.
