Awesome Stylist! 11/30/2007

I followed Shannon from a previous salon. Shannon has been doing my hair for the last 4 years and she rocks! She has talent for making me look and feel my best every time. I always receive so many compliments after seeing her. Thanks for the great color and cut! She is a true stylist ""extraordinaire"". I would highly recommend her to anyone. best stylist and salon in town! 9/10/2007

I was referred to Megan by one of my co-workers and I'm so glad I took their advice! Megan did a cut and color for me that turned out great. She listened to what I wanted, especially about the fact that I dont like to put a lot of fuss into my hair. The cut that she gave me is so great, and so easy for me to style! Great Colorist! 7/13/2007

I just went to Peter Lee for the first time and I was very impressed! I just moved here from ""the other coast"" and have had some terrible experiences in the past few months with salons in Seattle. So, needless to say, I was apprehensive when I tried yet another salon. Peter turned out to be fantastic. I already got a lot of compliments on my highlights/low-lights and it was Exactly what I wanted. He has good communication and listening skills, and a great eye for color. I highly recommend him. more

Best all around hair salon 5/10/2007

They have great stylists, particularly Peter Lee. He changed my hairstyle from a frizzy over permed nothing to a soft short freestyle with beautiful colorig.\r \r They also have an in house spa owned and rran by Katherine McCarter . Best Haircut 11/28/2006

Best haircut I've had in years. Finally a haircut I can work with right from the start. If I can make it look good after I've left the salon; it's a good sign for me. Gwendolyn has cut my sister's hair and quite a few of her co-workers, who've recommended me. I have not had color yet, though many customers there seemed very happy with theirs. Best Haircut in 36 years 10/11/2006

I have very thin fine hair. Everyday was a bad hair day for me. Gwen's the first person to have my hair looking thick and natural, not hair-sprayed and matted. The salon is in a great location. It's a beautiful salon and very casual for downtown Bellevue. Pros: online booking, good parking more

I followed Gwendolyn from another salon that I just love, and was worried that Salon JBU might not be as great.... This salon is even better! I love my hair!!! Thanks to Gwen for the new do. She is just the best and I would follow her anywhere, but I am so glad she picked this salon. I get stoped by strangers all the time asking me where I get my hair done!! STEPHEN KYLE - Hair Color Specialist!!! 5/21/2006

Can I just say, Stephen is truly an amazing hairstylist! He did my hair a couple weeks ago and it looks wonderful! My hair has never looked better. He did Red, Burgandy, and Copper all through my hair and I can't tell you how many compliments I have received. He told me he has done advanced training with Vidal Sasson, and teaches for AlfaParf(color line from Italy). His work speaks for itself! I started going to David 4 years ago and have moved three times and in three different states, but still continue to come back and get my hair cut by David. He is a true hair designer--more like a hair architect. He is a veteran and been cutting hair for like 25 years, but manages to be on top of current fashion trends and brings a nice balance to the table. He will keep you and your hair looking its best as he really seems to know how to bring out the best in your face and hair. I am a makeup artist and facialist so I have the opportunity to work with very talented people in the industry and yet still feel that David is the only one I can trust with my hair and his prices are so reasonable for the expertise, experience and attention to detail. While attending an out of town wedding, a friend told me about this salon and I decided to give it a try. Upon entering I was blown away by the decor. It's a mix of elegance and new innovative technology. A coffee bar, a before and after photo shoot area (to view results on a flat screen TV), great music and people working there that make you feel like there is nowhere else they would rather be. The atmosphere is friendly, fun and unpretentious. Now to the best part....my stylist, Carrie. I told her what I had in mind and she made suggestions. Had loads of complements. My hair has never looked or felt so good. I returned to have Carrie color it before I went home. If you are lucky enough to live in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out. I followed Danielle Certain from Salon Matarazoo and Salon Teul. She really does wonders with haircuts and color. This last style she did, I have received so many compliments on it. Everyone keeps asking where I went to get it done. Highly recommend her! more

Best Stylist I've seen in a long time!! 2/16/2006

While I was visiting Seattle a few months ago, I had the privelege of stopping into the salon and was absolutely blown away. From the moment I walked into the door, I knew I was in a friendly and professional environment. Each employee I met was friendly and smiling. Ohh my goodness, I just saw Stephen this last week and he gave me the best color and cut I have ever had! He is a definately worth more than what he charges. He gave me the best head and neck massage too. I have had over 15-20 comments on my color and cut just in the last week. I am just blown away! Wow! You got to see him! I totally trust Peter Lee with my hair. 3/26/2005

Peter Lee is one of few stylists I would ever trust to cut and color my hair. He has excellent taste and never gave me the wrong haircut for my face or personal style. He makes ladies look classy and hot. He is not at all pretentious. I enjoy being around his company and he gets along really well with everyone in the salon. Cozy and Fun In Downtown Bellevue 1/18/2005

A small and quaint salon surprised me when pulling into a rather ordinary looking strip mall in downtown (if we can call it downtown) bellevue. The gals (and guys) know what they are doing, and have been doing just that for a while. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and are highly skilled and knowledgeable about hair.
