I recently bought the groupon deal for a mani/pedi and hour long massage for $45. Too good to pass up!
When I arrived, I was shown around the facility and then directed to my room for the massage. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and the massage was wonderful. The walls are a bit thin, as I could hear everything going on with the customer in the next room. It was just the client telling the therapist what areas she wanted worked on and didn't go on very long, so that was understandable.
After the massage, I was directed to wait in the relaxation area until they were ready to do my nails. This part of the spa was freezing. Fortunately they did have blankets. I also noticed during my wait, it appeared the floor had probably never been vacuumed. During my wait I was offered some water. I was surprised that it wasn't bottled, but maybe they are going "green". It also didn't have ice, nor was it very cold.
My mani/pedi was great. However, during the mani/pedi, one of the employees kids came and sat down and proceeded to talk to me and play with the nail polish. This didn't really help with the relaxation part of my spa experience. I thought it was pretty unprofessional as well.
Overall, the actual services were fabulous. I definitely got my money's worth with the groupon deal, but the actual spa left more to be desired. I would never pay full price to go back for any of the services.
