Salon D'allure

I decided to venture to Salon D'Allure with my wife because we were on our way in that same direction. She of course has been visiting the Salon since they opened and refuses to go anywhere else as that is where she is comfortable. I am typically skeptical about establishments claiming distinct differences in quality of service. However, my wife talked me into inquiring about getting my hair cut while she had her usual stylist Paige do her hair. I admit I did need a haircut, so because I don't like to be a stubborn person, I accepted her suggestion and asked the front desk about givng me my typical barbor shop cut. They received my questions with friendliness and didn't make me feel like my marine cut request was so out of the normal. So, Otto did a great job giving me the barbor shop style cut while allowing me to enjoy the perqs of getting a salon style treatment in a welcoming environment. more

The salon is a great one stop shop for all your needs. I have been coming to see Monque every week and a half for the past 3 years. She is a great colorist and stylist always giving me a fresh funky look. The atmosphere is very relaxing and everyone is very nice and friendly. If you can't get in to see Monique because she books up early, Tasha is great too. Ines does great waxes and facials. Be careful, one you start coming, you'll be hooked. Salon D Allure goes above and beyond just hair! The salon offerings include spa services and a product line that is awesome. In addition, Michelle made me feel like she had been doing my hair for years and my friends called and made an appointment as soon as they saw it! more

While receiving my wonderful facial with Ines, the noise outside of her room was very loud. I could hear people talking in the mani/pedi room and clippety-clop of heels. With all the noise it was very difficult to relax and enjoy as I usually do. Pros: great facials Cons: noise level more

As the owner of Salon D'Allure I just could not let the poor review of my wonderful stylist Candice go undefended. While this client has the right to her opinion of her experience I also have the right to explain our side of this story. First, I personally recommeded Candice as the stylist she should see because she does beautiful color. When the client left originally she left my salon happy. Candice explained to her before she left that this particular color would fade and she would need to use the recommended shampoos to help out but she did not purchase them. We heard back from her 2 1/2 weeks later saying the color had faded and she also wanted more foils put in. When she came back she was actually 45 minutes late and we worked her in as best we could even though Candice had already begun working on her next client. Because it had been longer than 2 1/2 weeks when she returned and she was told she would have fadage, Candice charged her a small fee for her time, expertise and color used. The $200 she is quoting is actually the total she paid for service and products which she bought on her return visit. This client's hair was damaged to begin with and Candice took the utmost care with her hair to ensure the processes she performed would not add to the damage. We did attempt to contact her but her numbers were invalid and we were unable to reach her. We make every effort to make sure our clients are happy with their services. I just wanted to give some clarification for those who might be considering trying my salon for hair services. You can rest assured that I hand pick my stylists and keep them trained monthly in the best way to service our clients. They care about their clients and this mean spirited review really hurt Candice. I know everyone has a bad experience sometimes and for that I am sorry. I just hope you will understand that I stand by the work of the team that I created to make you all beautiful. more

I just found out about this site and how ""We"" get to be judge.....unfortunately some have taken this to heart(love) and I would like to add my experience and opinion. I have been a client of Candice's for years now. I moved to Salon D' allure because of her. I have never had anything less than great service from her and the entire salon. My hair has always been well taken care off....If I wanted to do something that would take away from the health of my hair Candice would be the first to say something. And I have never had a problem paying the bill at the end. If you can't pay for great service you may need to go to a lower quality salon. I would recommend this salon and especially Candice to all that are looking for a wonderful experience and of course great hair! I read the reviews here before I actually even made an appointment, I should have looked more closely, the 'good' reviews are all about the facial services...I went in and asked for an all over highlight service, and requested a senior person because I wanted it to look good. What a nighmare!! 190 dollars later...I left so upset, Candace does not listen to what the client says. I finally decided to go back and try to have a few more strands of the right color put in..I called early the morning of the appointment and told them I would be about 15 minutes or less late, and I was actually ten minutes late. I was told when I arrived that there was no time for me! Candance came out and asked me what my problem was, upon hearing I only needed her to try to fix her mistake around the face area - and some on the back - she reluctantly agreed to work me in. I should have left then!! Within 1 week - every one of the blonde highlights she added - broke my very long hair in the middle. It was as if where she folded the foil the hair simply broke off... And!!!! When I was finished with this 'redo' and went to the desk to pay for shampoo - they charged me another $50 for this mess. They never ever even called me to see how it was ?? Is this how they do it in Georgia?? Never Again - they are quite a bunch there!! Save your money and your hair - go somewhere else!! You could miss this place, since it's tucked away in a shopping center on Old Milton Pkwy. I went in because they had a banner outside, offering a 20% discount on microdermabrasion.
