I dropped my car off for engine diagnostics the other day with Ryan. It's only $90 whether they take 10min or 10hrs...seems to be a good deal. He says it will take an hour or two so I left it for the day. No call all day long so I decide to call him and see if its ready. He says, "we're still running tests...can we keep it overnight?" It's ok with me. Same thing next day and they want to keep it another night. Still wanting to find out what the problem is, I again say its ok. I get a call this morning and they solved the problem...unfortunately for me, it's a $620 repair. I made a few calls and found the part for 1/3 of the price quoted so I opted to do the repair myself. When I called Ryan back to let him know he just hung up the phone after hearing that I wouldn't be needing them anymore. I know that its probably not the news he wanted to hear after spending 3 days figuring out the problem but I thought that it was still very unprofessional for him to hang up on me...besides, I still needed him to answer a few questions.
I have used them in the past and they were always very friendly...actually, Ryan was extremely friendly as well, up until the point I told him I could manage the repair on my own.
UPDATE: So I finally got around to replacing the part that he said would fix the problem...unfortunately it did nothing to solve the issues my car was having. I called back to see if he could think of anything else that might cause the problem and was told that I can bring the car back for some more diagnostics...for a fee of course. Good thing I didn't have them fix the car because I would be out $620 instead of $200...and I would still have broken car! I would suggest not going here...seems they are unexperienced and lack the knowledge to do a sufficient job.
