What a great experience, plus tons of eyewear to choose from 5/29/2010

I asked my friends for their recommendation on where to buy eyewear. I was tired of the same choices at my long-time chain retail store and everybody said go to SEE Eyewear. Most but not all shopped at the Birmingham store. So I drove the 30 mile drive and my friends were right. Alicia was fantastic. She really knew eyewear and had a keen eye for fit with my face shape. She was also very customer-focused as she was the only one working but she serviced each and every one of us with patience and a great attitude. The store's selection was also great. I went in looking for 1 pair of eyeglasses, almost bought 3 but ""settled"" for 2! I'm really pleased with my choices and I'll definitely go back next time around. Pros: great selection, friendly & knowledgable staff Cons: only one person working while I was there and it was busy more

I love this store! 6/1/2009

I've been going to the Birmingham SEE for years. It is conveniently located blocks from my office. Beyond the convenience of the location I enjoy the experience. The employees at SEE are young and trendy. They know me by first name even though I only come in once a year. I'm always greeted as if I'm a friend but still in a professional way. The staff is full of energy, charismatic and knowledgeable about products. The doctors are always very professional and put me right a ease (even though they are going to touch my eye with that thing!)! I just came from this year's visit to SEE in Birmingham and it was as good as every year. I considered going to a discount store but worried about quality of exam and glasses. I know I don't have to worry about either with SEE. Pros: Great selection of trendy eyewear, helpful sales staff Cons: Prices are a little high but I think worth the experience more

The best place to get glasses 11/15/2008

This place may be pricey, but you leave with glasses that are trendy, hip and make you look and feel great. The opticians all get involved and veto each others recommendations until you find the perfect glasses for your face more
