Just might have the best Reuben's in the Twin Cities 10/22/2006

I ordered a Reuben Sandwich there for lunch recently and was pleasantly surprised. They do it right, on marbled rye and don't skimp on the traditional fixin's. You also get a side and I chose the fresh cut fruit which was....fresh cut. Good quality. It is now my favorite Reuben Sandwich in the Twin Cities. \r \r The ambiance is so welcoming. Nice digs 10/25/2005

Good food, but not great. Really liked the decor. Beer selection could be better. Onion ring appatizer great. Busy on a Tues evening but did not get/need reservation. Its connected to Best Western Inn right of 61. Bar area was cool and quaint. Fireplace a plus Pros: Fireplace more

Great Lunch Spot 10/7/2005

The decor is absolutely decadent. I ordered a grilled cheese with a bowl of soup. The cream soup was outstanding. However, the grilled cheese left something to be desired, like melting. What a find! 6/10/2005

This is a great little restaurant that used to be a junky hotel family restaurant. They have totally gutted the old place and made a really nice steak place. The food was excellent (I had the blackened beef medallions, and my wife had the walleye). Everything about the meal was perfect. My wife loved the Rudytini ($11), but death by chocolate was extremely rich. I wouldn't get that again. Pros: Tasty Food, Ambiance, Service Cons: A little expensive more

Amazing 6/1/2005

Rudy's has the best food. Great Steaks and sweet potatoe hash brown, and the Death by Chocolate was to die for. The Martini's were my favorite, they have a signature drink they call the Rudy-tini that we all just loved. The atmosphere was a cozy 1920's style with dark red walls and a brick fireplace. I will be back again! more

Love this place! 3/25/2004

The food is EXCELLENT! Best fish I have ever eaten! Food portions are HUGE though - but I still manage to eat both pieces of fish on my plate (nothing else). Potatoes au gratin are excellent as well. Highly recommend the beef medallions - although there are a lot of them on your plate! Great ambiance - feels like a lucious cabin. Wait staff very nice as well. Okay food, but not a special treat 7/13/2003

We've been to Rudy's twice now, (6/16 and 7/12)and each time the food was okay. Not terrible, and not terrific. In general, things have not been as flavorful as we would have hoped. We've had the Oysters Rockerfellow, Chicken Cacciatori, Drunken Pork Chops, Crab stuffed Sole and New York Strip. Wish they served bread with the meals. Loaded baked potatoes and au-gratins were yummy. more
