Editorial review from Citysearch 1/5/2014

Personable staff with a menu that provides delicious options that are different than normal pizza venues. A good spot for date night or family dinners. The addition of live music gives it a very ""Austiny"" feel, more

The margherita pizza is the best thing ever. more

This is the best pizza I have ever eaten. more

One of my favorite places 1/1/2010

We love this place for the whole family. Griders are great but the pizza rocks. My favorite feature is that they put the cheese ON TOP of all the toppings. Good deal on a night out with the kids and the atmosphere is just right. Pros: food more

I'm not a big fan of pizza.... 5/21/2009

I've been to Rudino's many times since they've opened and at first I stuck to the salads and grinders because I don't care for pizza much. Recently I was feeling adventurous and ordered a very meaty pizza....which has me questioning why I don't care for most pizzas. What makes their pizzas so great? I don't know, but I'm sure I'll be going back! Pros: Great recipes and healthy alternatives Cons: Eating area can get loud more

Why are you waiting? Go! Order NOW! 7/16/2008

EXTREMELY pleased when I finally went to this restaurant. Fast, friendly service; awesome pizza and great price! Pros: Great Pizza more

BEST Pizza in Austin 6/27/2007

This place trumps Mangia's / Dominos / PappaJohns / PizzaHu t /CiCi's / etc. Their Royale pizza is SO GOOD as well as their Chicken Royale. I am a big fan of thick crusts with the bottoms slightly crispy so this is my favorite place because they do that so well. I also always get the french fries because they come with this really good seasoning on top. I disagree with what people say about the service. Every time I go, the service is great and you can really tell the people working there love to be there. more

lots of cheese & great toppings= best pizza around austin 4/4/2007

This pizza is by far the best pizza we have had in Austin. Tried others and they just don't compare including the Mangia Chicago style location. Their service leaves something to be desired however. Chalk that one up to inexperience I suppose, but it is pretty unorganized. I suggest you go when they're not too busy and do take out. Pros: Pizza & grinders are the best around Cons: Need some new servers big time! They are terrible more

The best pizza, awful service 4/2/2007

Most of these reviews are correct.. Rudino's has supurb pizza. They need to get a clue on service however. They serve beer but when you pay for it you have to wait until a server brings it out to you (you order ala fast food yet wait for it to come out to you... think Austin's Java). You would think they would bring the beer out to you asap... instead both times I have been there I have had to ask: where is my beer? Even after the pizza was there. the waitress had no clue that we ordered beer. Wake up Rudino's... your pizza is still worth it but your service is really poor. Pros: Pizza is really good, like no other place in Austin Cons: Service is terrible more

Best pizza I have tasted in Austin (Mangia who?) 3/25/2007

Good grinders, but even better thin crust pizza. Lots of cheese, good topping choices, finally a good place to eat around 620 & anderson mill. Pros: Great pizza, they serve beer, long awaited location!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: No servers. You order yourself and someone brings it out to you & still expects a tip more

Best thin crust pizza in Austin 1/22/2007

Ok, so we move here from Chicago and have been on the hunt for a great thin crust pizza for weeks. A neighbor (also from Chicago) refers us to Rudino's... they are the closest you are going to get to Chicago pizza. We have tried several places in Austin and they just don't get it. Rudino's ""gets it"" Pros: Tasty thin crust pizza, as close to chicago as you're going to get more

great! 7/6/2006

My family loves the pizza, especially the veggie one. The kids especially like the grinders; they are unique. The favorite is the spinach feta grinder. The grownups like the Pappio wine, the bottle for $10. The service has been good whenever we have gone to eat there. Very friendly, hard working, a nice alternative to pizza chain restaurants. more

GREAT FOOD 5/28/2006

This resturant by far is the best pizza establishment in town! Great pizza, regular prices, great sandwiches and the cinnasticks are to die for! Overall the service was great, friendly people, busy place, and on top of it they had live music on their patio the friday night that we were there. Get a cold pitcher and a couple of pizzas and you are set to go. more

Good Food 5/10/2006

I have been here several times and personally love the food and the pizza. Although i have had one or two problems with the service the food is great and the people are friendly everytime. Definatly give this place a try. more

Hmm 3/4/2006

The servers do not care at all! Don't waste your time going to this place. It's also over priced. more

Cheese, cheese and more cheese. 1/25/2006

If you go, do not order extra cheese, unless that's all you like or your name is Kevin and your home alone. These pizzas are loaded with cheese, way to much for our taste. The cheese over-powers the flavor of any other toppings. They also cut it up into little squares, what's up with that? I thought they were a bit pricey too. Oh well, tried them twice and that's enough for me. Cons: TOO much cheese more

Great pizza - need more locations! 1/12/2006

This is the kind of pizza Austin has needed for a long time. We go there every chance we get even though its not the most convenient location. My only issues is they don't run any specials and don't have cold beer glasses... more

Great food 10/9/2005

My family frequents Rudinos because we are offered a wide selection of grinders, pizzas and beverages. Not since Conan's left the NW area many years ago have we enjoyed pizzas so much. Service is always great and the food is the greatest. Pros: Good parking, Convenient location, Indoor/outdoor dining more

NOT worth it - Keep searching 7/29/2005

I really wanted to like this place. My family and I gave it several chances. But each time there was something wrong with the order or it took almost 2 hours to get the food. Plus, the service is just plain awful. Not really rude people, but you can tell they don't care. I would pick another pizza place instead of being disapointed with this one. more
