I am ""Checkers the Clown"" and I work at the Ruchi Palace from time to time doing children's birthday parties, as well as other Indian food restaurants. I get to eat Indian food several times a week and in my opinion, the Ruchi Palace is one of the best in the Dallas Fort Worth area. more

Awful Experience. Waited 3 hours to eat and when the food came the guy couldn't bring the food to us because he had a baby in the car. We had to go to him. Also some of the food had spilled in the bags. I would not recommend it. more

Food was delicious; however, they were almost an hour late in delivery. Also, portions were relatively small for the price. more

I visited this restaurant on September 26. We had bad experience with the waiters and the food was not tasty. The Buffet serving was so delayed that we need to wait for a long time. When asked for some dishes we got a very bad response from the waiters. Pros: Bill was given promptly !!! Cons: Rude Waiters, Food not Tasty , long waiting more

Very good deal this place has good atmosphere and a great lunch buffett. Dinner also a good option but a bit pricey depending on the dish(s) you choose. Try it out and you will fall in love with this place. 5 times better than Passad in richardson and irving more

I love this place! The buffet has a lot of variety on any given day. The dinner menu is also wonderful. I highly recommend the malai kofta and butter paneer masala. The service is always a delight. We're always seated quickly and the staff is always friendly and attentative. One time I went there for take out and as I was waiting, they offered me a free bottle of Mountain Dew! The menu is extensive! You would need to visit several times to get a taste of all their offerings. As you dine, they play (muted) Bollywood movies on the tv. It used to be a Golden Corral, so that should give you a good idea of how large the place is. It looks like they have the far right of the restaurant reserved for prviate parties. I had heard abt this place and wanted to try out their lunch buffet. I would never recommend and never go to this place again. They have a lot of soda in their food, the dosa and poori were like papad dry and hard to eat.. their biriyani was the worst of the lot... I can go on.. but everything they had just got worse....Each and every one of their dishes in the buffet was bad real bad... Pros: Nothing Cons: bad lunch buffet more

I am so glad I checked out the lunch buffet here at Ruchi Palace the other day! The atmosphere is quite pleasant - calming & comfortable, and the service is really top notch. The servers are very helpful & professional. It's a large venue that looks like a great place for large gatherings. The lunch buffet was amazing! Large selection and tasted very fresh, yummy pudding dessert too. Great price for their lunch buffet. I'll be back often when I'm in the area and look forward to trying out their dinner menu as well!
