We went there to celebrate a birthday. We made reservations prior to arriviving. We wanted 7pm ,but they don't allow you anything later then 6pm?. Upon arriving our table was ready ,but we were not allowed to sit until we had at least 10 people of our party of 20 present. Another??. Some of the guest were late because of the closing of 696 expressway. They were upset , even though there were empty tables available. They told us we had 15 minutes for them to get here???? We told them we could go somewhere else if it was a problem, but then they retracked a bit. We ordered at 6:30 with all of our guests present. more

Good Brews 8/7/2008

Well... it's a brewery, not a gormet restaurant and they deliver what they intend to - a good glass of beer. Honestly, some of their food is good and some... not so good (I recommend the beercheese soup and the turkey club) and, like most other breweries I've visited, the food tends to be a couple dollars over priced. What they lack in food, however, is made up in their brews. Resonably priced drinks that fit almost anoyones taste. So if you want to get a hearty soup, a thick sandwich, or some chips and dip while you talk with friends and family over a couple of cold drinks this is a good place to go, but remember, their ultimate task is beer - not food. Pros: clean and friendly atmosphere, decent service Cons: slightly overpriced food more

No healthy vegetarian fare. 3/29/2008

My husband and I have stopped going since they discontinued serving their veggie burger. The beer is pretty good and so is their brewer's bread. The pizza was pretty greasy and other than pizza there are really no healthy vegetarian options. Two thumbs down for getting rid of a vegetarian option. They have lost us as regular customers. Pros: micro brewed beer Cons: no vegetarian options, mediocre food more

Fully Disappointing 1/20/2006

This restaurant intrigued us from the outside. Inside, the ambiance felt ""cold"". The menu left wanting, not having enough of a selection. We had artichoke fritters as appetizers and noticed that they tasted very familiar:Costco. When the salad came, the same familiarity hit: Costco! When we were served our food, I had had enough of the Costco connection. Everything was bland; just tasted like 4 ingredients thrown onto the dough with no flavor to bind them. Service: our waitress did not remove ANY of our dishes until we grabbed her to tell her we were ready for our check. Perhaps she thought we were going to finish the ONE slice of fried artichoke, the half loaf of bread and the rest of the very soggy salad after we were served our main meals.Altogether, overpriced for what it offers: bland and screaming for a real chef to us more than Costco! Pros: clean bathroom, cozy booths Cons: overpriced, poor food selection more

Beer is O.K. 6/9/2005

For a microbrewer I found the selection of beers (I've tried most over numerous visits) to be rather lacking in character. The Idea of Microbrew's is to have a distinct local selection, not five different colors of Budweiser. Pros: location, atmosphere Cons: flavor more

beer is better than the food 10/28/2002

I've enjoyed the food there a couple times, but it seems like I'm disappointed with the food there most of the time. Their Red Ale is amazingly good though. more
