*********************************************\r **** THIS PLACE IS A JOKE **************\r *********************************************\r \r They are the most UNproffesional place I have seen in a real long time.\r \r I took my truck in for an inspection @ 8:30 in the morning. Mary ( who is an absolute joke, the only reason she has a job is because her daddy is the owner, who is a bigger joke ) called @ 5:30 to tell me it was done. When I get there I find out it failed, for a turn signal and a battery tie down. Well the turn signal worked when I went out to check it. They tell me the inspector must have missed it. HOW DO YOU MISS IT? IT EITHER IS WORKING OR ITS NOT!!!! So I take it home and call the dealer about the battery. My truck doesn't have a tie down for the battery, there is a cross bar over the top of it that holds it in place.\r \r DO THESE PEOPLE EVEN REALLY LOOK AT THESE CARS?\r \r IF THIS IS ALL IT TAKES TO BE A MECHANIC THEN LOOK FOR MY SHOP TO BE OPENING IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I WILL ROB ALL YOUR MONEY JUST AS ROVING AUTO DOES!!!!!!!! more

I went here to get a state inspection: I recieved a phone call saying if they do not have the anti-theft lug nut key they would fail me, well i just bought the car used and didnt even know what that was, well apparently it was lost anyways from the previous owner. So after having checked everything else excpet the tires they rejected me. The next day i went to the dealer and told them the story and got a new key. The following part is why i am writing this review. I took my car there with the new key aussring myself it'll pass now i have the key. I bring my car in at 11:30 am and wait and wait. Well at 3:45 i get a phone call your car failed inspection because lights need to be resurfaced,i said are you kidding me, they inspected that yest. and said nothing about it all they had left were the tires to be checked, and they would have seen how the headlights were by me just driving up if thice out ey were any good at their job. So not only did they have my car for 4 HOURS!!!!!! They tried to get a service out of me, and in the state of VA if you get your car inspected 2x within a 15 day period you only have to pay $1 the second time they tried to get my husband to pay the $16 all over again. Not only were they unprofessionl and rude, they are a complete rip off! Dont go there expecting a simple inspection, they will try to fail you for anything just to offer a service. Well guess what i took my car to the dealer didnt resurface my lights and PASSED! more

I took my driveshaft to Roving Auto to have the u-joint replaced. It's a simple job. They quoted a price of $45 and it would take half hour at the most. While I was standing there watching, the technician started beating on the driveshaft with a hammer. A few minutes later, he called me over to show me the yoke cracked in two. He said he would send it out to have it repaired at no cost to me. Well the next day when I went to pick it up, the bill jumped to $115 for a new yoke, u-joint, labor and balancing. When I complained to the owner, Howard Tabor became verbally combative and threatened to call the police. I refused to pay and they kept my driveshaft. Don't waste your time with Roving Auto! They are not professional! more
