When I've called Roto-Rooter in the past about a blocked drainline, their technicians always showed up at or before the promised time, were courteous, efficient, and respectful of my property. This time ,a Sunday evening, was no exception. The fellow got to work removing the toilet and boring out my line as far as the street. He even mounted a shield over the cable spool to block residue from splattering my doors and walls.\r

The price did seem high, but no doubt it costs money to keep dispatchers, plumbers, and trucks on duty 'round the clock, every day of the year, in busy times and slow. I could have taken more time to find a cheaper service of unknown quality, but chose to go with the best.\r

My compliments to the dispatcher that night, who was most kind and helpful. She invited me to go on-line and look for discount coupons in my area. I found one worth $30. That's something!\r
