Needed a gas valve installed for our new gas dryer we just purchased. Plumber came out the same day within the hour of calling on 10/04/11 and was done just as fast. He made the gas line shorter and hooked us up with a shorter gas valve so we can push the dryer closer to the wall. more

My technician Mark D. (#2976), could not have nicer or more professional. I called and within 45 minutes he was at my house, explained the blockage in the main sewer drain, and got right to work. After he got the drain open, blocked due to tree roots, he told about a product they use to stop the tree roots from growing. He put a camera through my entire drain system and showed me where the problems were. He then put the Root-X product into the lines and there is even a one year extended guarantee, just for using Root-X! I could not be happier with the service I received or with Mark. came home from a trip to find that the recent flood in our basement doused the pilot light on our hot water heater, couldn't get the pilot light restarted. Called RR and Butch came arrived 15 minutes before the estimated time, took a quick look and told us our heater was shot and needed to be replaced. Even though it was 730 at night, he still was able to get a replacement and have it installed that same night. more

I had the warranty company coming out to do the repair on my water heater. They called me 20 mins before they were to arrive telling me they wouldn't be able to make it to my house. I waited all day with out hot water for them to call and tell me this. I decided to go online and find someone last minute. I came across Roto-Rooter and called them based on their great rating. When I called the girl was very friendly and understanding. She worked fast to set up a time for me and even emailed me a confirmation. When the tech was on his way they called to let me know. I was so happy that they came in fast time and Chris( badge number 2001) was very friendly, very informative about the work he would need to do, worked very clean and fast. He even told me about a coupon to print out that I didn't know about. When it comes to me needing work done again I will for sure return to Roto-Rooter. The drains in my home had been backing up, then slowing down for a while. We tried liquid plumber and stuff like that only to have it start all over again in a couple of months. So I was looking info up on-line and came across Roto-Rooter Plumbers in Schaumburg and I could make an appointment on-line and on any day I chose no extra charges for nights or weekends. This was really important for me because my family's schedule is really wacky and we've had a lot of family events on Saturdays making appointment times very difficult. But I made one on a Sunday afternoon on-line and they sent me an email confirming right away. Then the day of just as promised they called to let me know they'd be sending Eddie out. He was really friendly and thorough. He checked everything out, he listened and better yet he explained things well. Plumbing tends to make me nervous but our plumber Eddie walked me through all of it with ease. It was also quick! Didn't waste a Sunday waiting or getting it done. Great! more

Came the day after the huge snowstorm. Right on time, very nice man. He was quick and clean. A little expensive but I do not know what parts and labor cost. Would recommend them. more
