Horrible Customer Service - No Show 2 Days for Scheduled Appointment
Roto Rooter scheduled an appt with us from 8am-12pm and kept pushing it back until after 7pm. Finally after never showing up we had to call them back and the dispatcher/cust service rep said we could reschedule for the next day first thing in the morning.
I expressed my concern and specifically asked them how do I know that the same thing would not happen again. I was guaranteed to be first on their list and reassured that they would call me first thing in the morning.
Well again the appt was pushed back with them saying they could not make it out till 5pm or later and now they just called to reschedule for tomorrow. Excuses were given about being shorthanded, to trucks not starting to them lieing about calling us when they didn't.
I had called a few times today to discuss my frustration and speak with a manager, or the admnistrative office as they call it, and was hung up on once. Given a direct phone number for customer complaints that was a couples personal home phone number. The call center reps probaly did that on purpose to avoid complt=aints I can only assume. Finally after I called back a 4th time I was transferred over to a automated service where I selected customer feedback and was sent to a voicemail of someone in the company where I left a message and surprisingly haven't heard a response.
Coming from a person like myself who has spent years in the customer service industry I consider myself rather patient. This however has been one of the worst experiences I've had and on top of that I had to take financial losses due to their incompetence for taking off 2 days of work waiting around only to have them push back the appt and never show.
Do yourself a favor and call one of the other hundreds of plumbers in the yellow pages.
