Rosenfeld Bagels has the best bagels I've ever tasted. They are made right in the back and perfect every time. If you haven't been, you must go! In addition to the bagels being made on-site, the cream cheese is fresh, too, and whipped to perfection. Just delicious! This little bagel store is located in Newton Center under Christine's Day Spa and Pink Domino. It is a tiny, tiny place... and busy, just to warn you! Please don't let this keep you from going there, though, because it is worth the little squish. It is delish. Even though it is small, very busy, and people go up to the counter picking out their 2 dozen bagels one at a time (1 flavor at a time without a clue as to what they want), the service is excellent. Everyone who works there couldn't be nicer! I highly recommend this place. I hear the challah is fantastic too, and has won tons of awards as being the best in Newton, so I will definitely have to go back and try that :-) Pros: Delicious bagels, terrific service Cons: Tiny! more

Rosenfelds has an incredible variety of bagels, and toward the end of the week, a fantastic selection of Jewish baked goods. The Challah is fantastic - perfectly sweet, as well as the raspberry babka ring. The bagels are small, but the perfect combination of crispy on the outside, and chewy on the inside.
