The staff did everything they could from the beginning to the end to ensure that everything was done properly and with the utmost dignity and respect. The service was beautiful and really honored the person and the life that my friends mother had. more

  • Roper and Sons Funeral Home opened its doors in Lincoln, Nebraska in December 1901, when Charles H. Roper began offering funeral services with Charles Beecher. The two eager partners opened their first facility at 124 South 13th Street at the point from which streetcars chartered for funerals began their journey down Lincolns O Street no more than muddy paths to Wyuka Cemetery.

    Today, Roper and Sons continues to uphold Charles H. Roper's commitment to serving Lincoln residents and the surrounding communities as well as keeping the business in the hands of family.
