Worst plumbing company I have used to date! I called this company to install a new hot water heater at one of my rental properties. They did not leave a receipt/invoice or new appliance paperwork when they installed it. I overlooked this since my charge served as a receipt and I could retrieve the manual from manufacturer. Several months later I learned they did not reconnect the water line for the refrigerator. I called them about it and they said that the company had ""changed owners"" and they needed to ask the new owner about it. They said they would have the new owner call me. I had to call them back several times and ?new owner? never would talk to me. They told me that the new owner said it had been too long since the installation and would not come out to reconnect the water line. So I went to Lowe's and got the tools to do it myself. Then a couple of months later the hot water heater stopped working. I called them back to get warranty repair done. They then told me that they would not help me because they were not the company that installed it. They said that they only purchased the phone number from the previous company and not the customers. When I asked how they were able to pull up my invoice and all the details about the installation if they did not own the customers, they said that that information came with the phone systems. Now I was not born yesterday and they had previously told me that the company had a new owner. I proceeded to ask for their assistance since they were in fact a plumbing company and my hot water heater was still under warranty, but they refused to help me. I was shocked. So I called the manufacturer to find out who could do this service for me. They were also shocked with my story. They told me that any plumber could do the service that labor was covered under the warranty. I had to contact another plumber to repair the heater. I do not believe that owners changed with this company. I believe they had such poor reviews with BBB that they closed and reopened under a different name. Original name: Rooter Express of America. New name: Rooter Express Plumbing Services. No matter what really happened, these people lied to me several times and the worst service I have ever seen from a plumber. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY! more

These people are interested in shaking down their customers. I talked to a plumber about the work these people did; he said they charged about 40% more than they should have. more

Called to have my septic tank pumped- routine stuff. Said they would be here between 4 and 6pm- at 6:15, a man shows up in a Ford pickup truck (no company logo) and says he's just there to check and see what's going on and that the pump truck was in route. He stayed 5 min- all he did was locate the septic tank (actually, I just pointed it out to him, as I already knew the exact location). He leaves and the pump truck NEVER shows up!! I get no phone call explaining why, and they are unreachable by phone. Next day, still no truck or even a phone call. Just wondering how the heck they stay in business... more

Donny in the home office lied to my home warranty company about the cause of my plumbing problem so that they denied my claim. It cost me $2500 and should have been covered. The crew who did the work said so, but Donny had his own agenda. It's been a terrible experience. more

Just moved to the area, reasonable people; but, our patience is over. We have six words.....WAIT FOREVER, NO RESOLUTION, CRAPPY SERVICE. Can not imagine how these people are still in business. Our issue is still not resolved with the Marietta office & we're ready to submit a claim to the corporate office. Looks like we'll need to get our lawyer involved in this one unfortunately. I can't belive we have to give 1 star on this rating......BUYER BEWARE! more

I CALLED "" ROOTER EXPRESS OF AMERICA"" BECAUSE MY NEIGHBOR HAD USED THEM AND THEY WHERE VERY HAPPY WITH THERE SERVICE. MY SEWER WAS BACKING UP AND THE DISPATCHER SAID THEY COULD HAVE SOME ONE THERE IN 45 MINS TO AN HOUR. THE TECH WAS THERE IN 40 MINS AND WALKED ME THRU THE WHOLE PROCESS AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING REALLY WELL. IF I EVER HAVE ANY KIND OF PLUMBING OR SEPTIC PROBLEMS I WILL BE CALLING THEM !!! I called my home warranty for a smell coming from my kitchen sink. Rooter express shows up and sends a camerca down my outside cleanout. they tell me to run the water and I was trying to watch the camera as he was going very fast. He said ""oh you have a belly in the line"". The fix is to jack hammer up your floor. They quoted me 4200.00. Good thing I called another plumber, who came in and put the camera in. NO Belly. NO 4200.00. The other plumber fixed it for 265.00. It was a clog in my drain from my sink. When I called them to get their address Donny and some other woman refused to give it to me. Dont use these people. more

This company was dispatched to our home through our home warranty service. They were to replace our water heater. They technician was supposed to be there between 2-4pm, but showed up at 4:45. Second, we got a punctured tire from debris left in our driveway from the old heater the technician had sitting in our driveway. We had our suv in the rear of the driveway but couldn't pull into the garage until the wok was done. Later that evening my husband went to pull the suv into the garage (never physically leaving the driveway) when the tire was punctured. We had to call a tire service company to put on the spare b/c the tire had a hole In it. The next day, I IMMEDIATELY called the home warranty service; however I was told I have to file a claim against the company's liability insurance. I then called the company letting them know what happened. We have been given the run around ever since. The person I spoke with was rude and accusitory asking me how I was sure it was from them and said someone ""would call me"". We did everything they've asked. We had the tire company call them directly to confirm the old tire was ruined and we needed a new one. We had the tire ompany fax the documents. We have called for follow up each time we're told they 'should know something' yet we still have not been given an update on when we will get reimbursed for buying a new $439 tire. When my husband calls for the Manager, we're told to ask for someone else. When we call again, we're given another name. Now we're being told their corporate office has the claim, yet no one from corporate has called us, nor do we get answers when we call corporate ourselves. This happened in December. At this point, we are considering legal action through small claims court.. I will post this on every website with reviews for this company until they resolve our claim. We did not anticipate spening an extra $439 to replace a tire two weeks before Christmas because of negligence from this company in not leaving a clean work site before completing a job. more

I called them out once in late July to fix a leak I had in my house. My water bills had been running about $150 to $200 per month for about 3 years. They came out did a diagnosis and found that all of my toilets were leaking water. They reconstructed all of my toilets for $360!! (I had 3 total). With that fix my water bills have been averaging about $65 per month there after. This fix paid for itself in just a few months. more

I called them out to pump our septic tank. After all there were offering it for $195.00 ONLINE. I scheduled an appointment and also called several other companies and they warned me this was a bait and switch tactic. They would not even think of pumping a tank for $195.00. So I decided to still have them come out and if they started to sell me on upcharges I would just simply ask them to leave and decline service. So they showed up app. 2 hrs later,located the tank,and proceded to dig up the tank. They pumped it out and explained how the system worked. They also said we should plan on getting a new back baffle tee replaced and suggested we get other estimates and call them back when we see how much we would save using them. more

My kids shower was backed up and draining slow. So I called Rooter Express and they were at the house in no time. They fixed the shower & even gave me tips on how to keep it from happening again! Nice guys!! Highly recommended!!! more

We had another company come out to pump our septic tank. Upon arrival they told us it would be additional for all these other things before they even got to the septic tank. They wanted to take down our fence to get this big tractor inside. I decided to look around and called Rooter Express, I am so glad that I did. Their tractor easily fit thru the gate and they dug up the septic tank and pumped out. They were done in an hour or so & our toilets are draining fine now. They gave us a 2 year warranty and even gave us a discount if we joined their Facebook, Which we did & printed the coupon for immediate use. more

I had a really bad experience from the start. The RECEPTIONIST was so RUDE. She was not a good first impression of this Company. When reading through these reviews I can tell that I was not the first that this happened to. The guy that game out was SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I even caughting him spitting on my driveway like 5 times. It was gross. He acted in capable of answering any of my questions but reassured me he had been at this Company for Years and was a Manager. I had gotten 2 other quotes and this company was almost $1000 higher. UGH!! I DO NOT RECOOMEND THIS COMPANY DESPITE SOME OF THE OTHER GREAT REVIEWS. MY EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE,TECHS, PRICES EVERYTHING. HORRIBLE. I only gave this Company a STAR because I HAD TOO. It did not even deserve it. more

I called this company this morning to come give me a free estimate on my water heater. They came out and gave me several options of updating my system and they actually had everything on the truck to replace my old one right then!!!! An hour and a half later they were done and gone and the heater was working great!! Very professional guys. I will use them every time. more

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called them yesterday to get a price on a water heater. The prices they gave me were the cheapest out of everyone I had researched. They offered to come out same day, but I scheduled an appt with them this morning and they came out promptly and had my water heater in about 1 1/2 hrs later. Friendly and informative. I will continue to use them in the future. more

My warranty company sent these guys out to fix my garbage disposal and I have to say they were the most professional and reliable people I've had out yet. Nice guys and got us fixed up quick. I'll request you guys in the future. THANKS more

My water heater needed to replaced over the weekend so I shopped online and these guys were the cheapest by FAR!!!!! They did a great job.I will definitely refer them to all my friends more

We had company over spring break and even though and my dishwasher got clogged up. Not really an emergency but my warranty sent these guys out same day to take care of me and they were great. AWESOME!! more

We had Rooter Express out to our house a couple weeks ago. They came out the next day after we called them for free to give us an estimate. The technician, James, that came out took the time to answer every questions and go over all the repairs with us. We compared his estimate to about 3 others we had out there after them. These guys were the best by far. They will be getting started next week. THANKS AGAIN ROOTER EXPRESS!! more

We called 4 different plumber to replace a water heater. These guys were the cheapest out of all. We were a little concered that maybe they would use cheap material, but agreed for them to replace out water heater anyway. The installed top of the line, Bradford White, all services done for about $200.00 cheaper than anyone. GREAT COMPANY!! more
