Best hair extensions in NYC, and in the world! 11/23/2009

To use the original source is the best, that is why I've always used Rodolfo Valentin for hair extensions and for my hair color. In fact I am one of his first clients having his custom made, hand-made hair extensions back in 1984, when no one knew about hair extensions. But because Rodolfo has his legendary experience in working for the celebrities, show-bizz and Royalty, he found his way to extend people hair in a natural, undetectable way. The first hair extensions I had, Rodolfo made them using my own saved hair. This year I made the mistake to follow the advice of a friend that was using another salon for hair extensions. This was the biggest error I?ve ever done and I didn?t know how to look at Rodolfo?s face. Finally I took strength and I went to see him. He told me that everybody is allowed to make mistakes and instead of being mad at me, he helped me. Now I?ve Rodolfo?s hair infusion thanks God for his great understanding- I can either go to NYC or Long Island locations but whichever location I go I still get the best service, Rodolfo?s staff is great and fun! Best day spa long island, great experience !! 11/14/2009

My daughter and my husband gave me a full day gift package for my birthday at Rodolfo Valentin Salon and Spa. In despite that it was issued for the Long Island Salon and Spa, I was able to use the spa services at the long island location and the hair services at the New York City location, Rodolfo authorized it himself because I really wanted to experience his golden hands. It was absolutely divine. I went after a mainly tough week and began to calm down as soon as I stepped into their beautiful waterfall lounge, relaxing at the sound of the water. The team was warm and helpful, the decor was old word incredibly sophisticated, and the service was exceptional. I can?t wait to go back with friends. The NYC location is very modern and fresh look, very Madison Avenue?. Pros: Wonderful staff and beautiful location, also NYC location! Cons: everything is taken care of in the two places, best staff! more

Best day spa Long Island, and probably in the world! 11/14/2009

This gorgeous day spa and hair salon has the just right mixture of being upscale and luxurious, without the snobbish than other spas in the area has. ""You must consider yourself lucky to be here"", attitude that so many long island spas have. Had a deep tissue and this is now my new habitual spa. Not only was the massage overwhelming, you could tell that they put so much thinking into all the small details - you'll know what I mean when you go. The pedicure chairs are out-of-this-world! I've been to plenty of spas all over New York and Long Island, but Rodolfo Valentin salon and spa is the best ""experience"". I already booked by next appointment also to have my hair color and haircut, I was watching customers leaving from the hair salon looking amazing! Best day spa and hair salon in Long Island NY !!! Report this by Johana Johns I've had multiple massages and facials here and every single time has been amazing. I feel so clean and relaxed whenever I come out. Relaxing between services at their WATERFALL LOUNGE is my favorite! The place is sooo clean and peaceful. I think all the snacks and the refreshing drinks in the waiting room are a great touch. it really gives you that extra feel that you're getting the best of everything. The products that they use smell wonderful and feel wonderful. The staff are also so welcoming and polite and they know just how to treat a client whether for a huge package or a simple eyebrow wax. The prices are up there, but I think it's worth it just to know that you're always going to be getting one of the best spa experiences. I don't go too often (once every 3-4 months) so it makes sense that when I do, that it's the best. about the hair salon, yes I go every week for blow-dry and hair color and hair cut once a month. I cannot figure out my life without Rodolfo Valentin! -Hair models are in power within the hair/fashion business. Hair artists are continuously searching for men and women to feature as models in hair shows, magazines, and fashion shoots. I am in fact a hair model for celebrity hair stylist Rodolfo Valentin. I model for his famous hair extensions and his worldwide known expertise in hair color. Since over a year that I am having his famous hair extensions, I am having the biggest success in my life, let me say that I will not be able to live without them!. My agent clearly told me how much I?ve changed since I?ve the hair infusion?and it?s true, I am having more work than ever before and I know that Rodolfo Valentin is responsible for it. I?ve plainly told Rodolfo that after our agreement is over, I want to continue coming to the salon, he says that of course he will continue taking care of me. I CANNOT FIGURE OUT MY CAREER WITHOUT HIM!. He enhanced my personality, he gave me more style, and he made me more beautiful?As a result of working with him I am getting more exposure than ever. best spa long island ny, fabulous !!! 11/12/2009

I am from Far Rockaway and last week I got out of the train in Cedarhurst to shopping around. Walking on Cedarhurst Avenue, I found the Long Island Beauty Center; the owner is the New York City celebrity hairstylist Rodolfo Valentin. I couldn?t believe the beauty of the place and I couldn?t believe still more that such a wonderful place is in that town. ( it is a very nice town but it was the best of long island till few years ago). I immediately make an appointment, and I was lucky that they have an opening for massage and also an opening for a facial. I didn?t doubt about it, and I changed into a warm spa robe and sandals and I was taking to the mezzanine floor for a very friendly receptionist. I was lying in a comfortable reclining couch drinking lemon-water and enjoying the romantic sound of the waterfall at the water fall lounge. Then into the spacious massage room I had the most incredible massage I?ve ever experienced, with aromatherapy candles, hot stones and hot essence towels. At the end Barbara opened the warm water from the ceiling and finished the massage with a glorious roman rain as they call this treatment. Then I got a very good facial with Claudia and it didn?t finish in there, even if it was a bit much for my budget but after working out today i tried the spa pedicure and manicure with Julie, and it was excellent. My entire day at the spa was the most refreshing thing i have ever gotten. My skin felt all new and fresh. Because my hair was the only untouched thing Franco, a great hairstylist did my hair!- I will keep coming back for ever at this great place!, I already did an appointment to see Franco again for my hair color and hair cut. It is the most wonderful place and thanks to god I?ve discovered it. The lady told me i was a little tense so i asked about a massage and i got a massage from Lewis and he was really good probably the best massage I?ve ever gotten. Best hair salon and spa in the world! 11/7/2009

I?ve a thinning hair problem. I?ve visited every place for hair extensions in New York, including Long Island, and a place in Queens that advertises very much about hair extensions, but I didn?t trust them, they only seem to care for the money and not for the client?s hair. But finally I found the panacea, and the name of the magic potion is Rodolfo Valentin. After I spent 30 minutes of consultation with him, I didn?t doubt about his great knowledge. I just let him do what he wanted with my hair, and he did the most excellent job I could ever expect, it was really a make over! --- He begun with a base color, then he said that highlights would be added with the hair extensions themselves so I will not need to have more chemicals into my hair?and after his unique five steps deep hair treatment that left my hair feeling very smooth, his famous hair infusion was added, perfectly matching my hair texture while adding different tones of blonde that was mixed together resulted in the best hair color I?ve ever had!- Then, he proceeded with the hairstyle. I always wanted to have layers and Rodolfo told me that it was the right choice because the straight hair is slowly leaving the current straight-hair fashion and the new trend is showing a more glamorous bouncy hair, and the layers will help to show more of the 2010 new look. best long island spas by Rodolfo Valentin 10/17/2009

Therapeutic background music, fabric shaded walls and a pool of colors was waiting for me at the spa floor. A chic lounge with reclining couches placed around the spa combined with the waterfall to give it a fresh, peaceful feel as you walk through the door. A nice touch is the floor which is covered with heated stones. Upon entering I was met by an spa attendant with a serene smile, who has clearly spent many peaceful hours wafting around this oasis of calm. After showing me to a seat in the reception area she offered me some flavoured water - a toss up between 'de-stress' or 'vitality' (I opted for vitality thinking it will probably incorporate both). After filling out a detailed questionnaire asking a series of probing questions, I was led to a changing room. Prior to my treatment I was given some time alone in the meditation area - a small, candle-lit room with background spa music. Alas, my sojourn here was brief one; after just ten-minutes I was whisked off the treatment room for the best massage of my life. Then in the Salon floor I got a cranial massage from Pia and a hair blow by Maritza. It is without any doubt the BEST SALON AND SPA IN THE ENTIRE LONG ISLAND NY. Pros: very close to Queens where I live. Cons: every detail is taken care to perfection here! more

My own hairdresser recommended the Hair extensions by Rodolfo Valentin (that he named Hair Infusion) his patented trademark system, I was looking for somebody to make my hair like a Tyra Banks, Beyonce, or Naomi Campbell, because my style is exactly like them and for the first time in my life I am so happyyyyyyy!. They not only look so amazing but natural and are very healthy to put on!?.yes! believe or not, VERY HEALTHY!, they do not require the heat that burns my own hair as the other hair extensions systems ( and I have used the best, including great lengths). I would definitely recommend these to everybody who needs them. Pros: everything is perfect hair, ambience, service, staff and nothing to complain more

From 2003 I am coloring my hair, and although there are no similar statistics for products used in hair salons, and if it is true that the vast majority of women are hiding their gray as myself, most of the popular brands does not last long covering it and in a few days the gray color shows because the color wash out! As many of my friends I also even tried to do it myself buying the hair-coloring product from the drugstore. I had heard of the hair designer Rodolfo Valentin for years, but never imagined such a wonderful salon experience with old world furniture and floor tiles. At this magnificent salon (other exist in the south shore of Long Island) there are junior stylists and colorists, as well as senior, designer, and high skilled stylists and colorists. Rodolfo Valentin is from Argentina, and you can read about him and his salons on his website. The NY salon, on the upper east in Madison Avenue, is an oasis of privacy and comfort. I also enjoyed my visit to his gorgeous Salon and Spa in Long Island where one floor is reserved for hair stylists and colorists, while in the upper floor is located one of the most beautiful spas for treatments, such as seaweed wraps and a multitude of massages, and manicures/pedicures, etc. more

best long island (and probably new york) day spa 10/16/2006

I was extremely please with the services my husband and I received at the spa. I am now going to continue to go a monthly basis for my facials and massages. The faciliy was very serene, beautiful and clean ( like no others). The spa is located in the second floor above the salon, so there is not noisy and the calm is imperative ( others have the spa located below the salon or in the basament and the noise make it impossible to relax or to enjoy the services). although we arrived late the greeting receptionists were very accommodating. It was my husband's first visit to a spa and they were very patient with him and they made him to be like at home. the staff was very personable and knowledgeable. We both left there feeling that we have made new friends. Pros: beautiful, luxurious, extremely well run Cons: nothing bad to report, everything is five stars there! more

At Rodolfo Valentin luxurious Spa I got the best for my body, my face, my nails and my hair! It is something very rare to find a beauty center where all services are ten points. It is really one-stop-shop. Before I found this unsurpassed Salon and Spa I was required to go to different places to be one hundred percent happy. Now at Rodolfos where every service is twelve points (from one to ten) I really cannot believe how lucky I am! It is impossible to describe the beauty of the premises without seeing them, there are not enough words to describe this palatial grounds, the high quality of every service they offer, the warm welcoming and far above the ground experienced staff. I also was very blessed to have my haircut by Rodolfo himself (I was told that he is full-week at the Manhattan salon), but then I realized that he is also Saturdays at his Long Island location.At the end of my spa experience, he cut and styled my hair and the only I can say is that he has all the talent Pros: Extremely well run shop, warm welcoming and high skilled staff more

Facials are superb at Rodolfo Valentin Spa in Long Island. I found about this Spa because I am a regular customer of Rodolfo's salon in New York City where I often go for my hair. I was so impressed when I check in the internet the pictures and services offered for his spa, that it was worthy to drive 30 minutes to his spa. after all it is not that far from the city and it is an easy drive towards JFK airport (around 10 minutes after passing JFK0.If youre looking for something truly unique, check into this beautiful spa which just celebrated its fifth year anniversary on past june.The 10,000 square-foot holistic haven offers all kind of expertise massages, body treatments and the Rodolfo Valentin roman rain treatment is unique with 155 gallons of warm water per minute as an add on to fabulous end any massage offered in the menu. Also available is ear candling, an ancient technique that removestheres no more elegant way of saying thisear wax and old blockages from the ear canal. This method improves balance, hearing, overall mental clarity and can even change the expression on your face, decreasing puffiness and evening out features. Ana, the facialist did the ear candle after having the Signature facial that got my skin back with same texture than when I was in my twenties... The warmest people rarely found in other salons are the right way to name his staff. 9/15/2006

Rodolfo is the key men to use for hair coloring. As a path to success is to make sure that the color looks good on you and Rodolfo is the only one that will make sure it happens.. Matching your hair color is principal, as a mismatch will be obvious. Rodolfo took me within a few shades of my natural hair color; and he also told me that some difference is acceptable, as it can create a nice subtle yet dramatic look, but any more than a few shades and the hair wont look quite right. He also told me that he could dye my hair with an entirely new color, but hair coloring for an executive women works best when its subtle, not when its a dramatic hair color change.
