I just moved to Brookville NY, near Jennifer Lopez home. While searching for a hair salon near Brookville NY I found that the best bet salon in Long Island is Rodolfo Valentin. While reading the reviews I also found out that ?Leonard? one of the best hair stylists in NYC is working at their salon in Long Island, Saturdays. I did not doubt about making an app. Thanks to god I did, Leonard is very busy on Saturdays but I was able to get an standing app. Every Saturday now! I am so happy, I do not need to go the New York City anymore, I have the best just fifteen minutes from home! I know that hair extensions are a the best approach to change the look but I was extremely afraid after read the bad reviews about the damage that hair extensions are causing in addition to see my best friends having some kind of damage to their own hair. The videos from the before after hair extensions of hair stylist Rodolfo Valentin are really attractive, so I made the appointment to see him two weeks ago and I am extremely pleased I did. Everybody at the salon was having their famous hair infusion additions. I had the opportunity to chat with some of them and most of them have great positive comments about the hair infusion additions, especially those who are using them from many years ago. All agree that they cannot live without the hair infusion additions. I closed my eyes and I told Rodolfo: do what you think is best for me, I just want to have a total makeover. They work in my hair color, only on the base color because they said that the highlights will be added while having the hair infusion additions, so I did not need to go through the extensive highlighting processing, which was great because I saved time and money!. I am a devote follower of Rodolfo Valentin since he landed in this country almost twenty five years ago. Like me there are hundreds of our devote customers that happens also to be my friends, most of us belong to the same social club. I must say that never has crossed through my mind to go to another hair salon than this one, my friends are sharing the same thinking. The receptionists at Rodolfo are very gently and kind. People there is standing following that goes to Rodolfo from ages. I am an Italian girl and I live in New York City. I found Rodolfo Valentin while shopping at Madison Avenue when he just opened his new place in New York City last year. I walked in his salon just for curiosity and I was so glad I did. I was changing from salon to salon trying to find my identity but the result was always the same: FRUSTRATION! Now that I found the image that I want to have, I will never ever change salon again! ? Rodolfo Valentin was living in Europe for several years and he speaks several languages including my language Italian, it is very easy to communicate with him!, I can do it in my own idiom! - Everything is done to perfection at this salon, hair color, hair extensions, haircut, hair styles, and something that probably nobody talks about, THE HAIR WASH by Pia or Rosa, probably the best hair wash that I ever had in my life!, I will call it cranial-therapy-shampoo, because while cleaning my scalp, they go deep massaging the top of my head, my neck, and even my forehead, it is unbelievably relaxing! And the most notorious is that there is no additional charge, it is included in the price of all services, even when I go there for a simple hair style. To tell you the truth, sometimes I go to have the hair styled just because I want to have the cranial massage that comes complimentary with the shampoo!!! LOL? People ask me in the street to which hair salon I go, and when I said Rodolfo, they think it is very expensive; it is not true, they are very affordable and compared for the top quality job, they are even less priced than the other top salons in the New York City area? I went to Marisha at Rodolfo Valentin salon for hair color, the hair color was great and so as she. She gave me a beautiful perfect blonde highlights. First , I had a hair color consultation with Rodolfo Valentin who was very nice to me. Rodolfo carefully listened to what I wanted. He showed me some hair color samples from magazines and wigs because he has to make sure that the results would be what I really wanted,.He likes to graphically see what the people want because I have the past experience of giving suggestion and then did not matched the results !!., that is the reason why Rodolfo prefers to clearly show the final hair color product in samples. He also put some pieces of the hair color that I wanted , framing my face to make sure I like it when the actual hair color is on me. Then he put Marisha to be in charge of my hair color , she followed Rodolfo's instructions to perfection and my hair loss problem is better than it ever was. Not only the hair color but also the texture improved, it is soft and shiny ! ? A year ago, I totally lost all my expectations of finding a good hair colorist in NYC. The only hair color I liked and exactly what I wanted to have was the hair color of the woman that lives next door to me. I asked several times who does her color and the answer was always the same?a hair colorist from Philadelphia, and because she visits her mother that lives there every month, then she visit also his salon in Philadelphia town. I really could not understand that if people from Philadelphia comes to NYC searching for quality things like clothes, shoes, even fun and hair, just the idea of having to travel to Philadelphia for hair color sounds ridiculous. I have tried most and I would say probably all famous hair color salons in NYC and around NYC. The results are always the same, a dull, lifeless hair color, and all I really wanted is to have the shine and vibrancy of my neighbor's hair color. I was also thinking that probably, it was my hair texture to be blamed. At this point, I was ready to go to Philadelphia and do whatever it takes to have same color as her, until one day of June of 2009, I was walking down Madison Avenue and I saw her coming out from the only Salon I did not consult, it was Rodolfo Valentin Salon. I walked in and I asked at the front desk if the lady that just left has her hair color done there, they told me: Stephanie? Yes she is a long time client here!. O my god!!! Hair Extension Long Island was my constant search on google but the Long Island Hair Extensions searching results only showed me a little or none about it and it also showed me places that I dont trust. Maritza, one of the owner's right hand explained to me all about their unique hair infusion extensions, I did not doubt about it and I did it right on the spot. (I have to wait until she was done with other two customers), but I really enjoyed watching all the process, saw the great results and the enormous happiness of the clients as they walked out of the place. They came into the place with little or no hair at all and leaving with a full sexy head, looking several years younger than when they walked in!. By 7pm I also left the place shacking my hair from one side to the other, with an incredible hair color that was done with the hair infusion extensions itself, without the need of touching my own hair with chemicals, and Maritza customized a little hair piece that added to my top (where I almost do not have any hair left). went to Rodolfo's salon with a friend who was getting a consultation on hair infusions and it ended up being the best experience for me. I had another type of hair blending in my hair and the piece was actually very loose because they kept cancelling my appt. for a tightening. Rodolfo took one look at my head and said the piece was destroying my hair and said he wanted to take the piece off. I was kind of reluctant because I didn't want to leave without any hair, but he assured me that would not be the case. he took the piece off and I had less hair than when I got the piece, my scalp was all red and all my hair folicles were coming out from the piece pulling my hair when they attached it. I was extremely upset, but Rodolfo assured me he would take care of me and he did. He took the old piece and washed and styled it and sewed in clips so I could put it back on without distressing my scalp. He then proceeded to explain his system, which does not damage or pull the hair at all and let me try it. I agreed to have him add his infusions to my hair. It was the best decision I ever made. i feel like a new person and more confident than ever before. Roldolfo is the most kind, campassionate and understanding person I ever met. He and his staff just made everything right. I wlll never let anyone else touch my hair. He also assured me that my hair would grow back in time and much healthier. Thanks to god Rodolfo Valentin has two locations one in each side which makes it easier for me when I cannot go to the gorgeous Long Island location on Saturdays, then I go to the super chic Madison Avenue location in New York City. Anyway I would travel any distance and to whatever Rodolfo Valentin and his great staff are for my hair color. Nobody, totally nobody in this world has ever done to my hair such a natural hair color. My blonde hair color is not only natural it is always perfect and healthy and usually people stop me in the street to ask me where I get my hair color done. The Long Island location is huge, and has 3 levels for pleasure like body treatments, facials and the best of all the roman rain, an incredible massage done by both the therapist and the 150 gallons per minute of warm water falling over my body, a great excuse to have it when they are late to take me!. was extremely please with the services my husband and I received at the spa. I am now going to continue to go a monthly basis for my facials and massages. The faciliy was very serene, beautiful and clean ( like no others). The spa is located in the second floor above the salon, so there is not noisy and the calm is imperative ( others have the spa located below the salon or in the basament and the noise make it impossible to relax or to enjoy the services). although we arrived late the greeting receptionists were very accommodating. It was my husband's first visit to a spa and they were very patient with him and they made him to be like at home. the staff was very personable and knowledgeable. Hair extensions are what I really wanted, but I was afraid for the hair extensions that every hair extension salon is offering after witnessing the hair disasters in all my friends getting their own hair damaged. After an exhaustive research I got to the conclusion that Rodolfo Valentin is the only one offering hair extensions damage-free. I went to the Rodolfo Valenti nSalon about two months ago on a whim- I was speaking with my boss that day and decided that I was sick of having my hair short that never grows and ready to go for long hair. After work, I walked over to Rodolfo Valentin, and I was beginning to lose my nerve- I was very anxious that my hair was going to be hurt, although my natural hair is delicate, I do not make a good short hair. The salon itself is beautiful, and every staff member that I spoke to was caring and charming. By the time I sat down at the hair station, I had been offered from a welcome glass of champagne, coffee, tea, water, and hot snacks by at least three different people- but not in an irritating way, just because everyone was very thoughtful. When Rodolfo came over, I was very tense. I love being a long hair young woman, and this was going to be a huge change. I came without a picture of how I wanted to look after the hair additions. I gave Rodolfo a odd oral description of what I wanted, and leafed through a In Style magazine that was there by my station, showing him what I wanted- even though I don't think any of the models I showed him really had the bouncy long hair I wanted! I know it is useless, but at this point I was trembling with tenseness because I was certain I would look awful, and I was already sitting in the salon, too late to turn back. In a breeze the hair extensions were attached and the hairstyle came out amazing. My hair is now rich and layered, no more short, flat and boring. I do not think I could ask for anything else from a hair magician like Rodolfo. Then I got a blow dry by Jeena. Some hair stylists have not been able to deal with my hair when it was short. Jeena was very gentle with my hair, probably because the extensions, and did not use a very hot dryer at all- which is something that makes a difference between a good blow out from a bad one. She made my hair silky and smooth, with just the right amount of waves and body, very well blended with the hair extensions, something that I always hated in my friends because in most of them the hair extensions are showing. While she was finishing up, Rodolfo came over to inspect my new look and make sure I liked it. I told him, that not only I like it, I love it- His hair extensions are light weight and I must admit that I only felt them the first couple of days.
