We stayed at Rock Haven with Nate and Rhonda September 24-29, 2011. We found it clean and comfortable, without a sign of neglect anywhere. They put a great deal of time and thought in designing, building and decorating, and now they maintain it with true dedication. Rhonda is an accomplished home maker/business manager, and Nate is a master craftsman and grounds keeper. I spoke only breifly with Nate as we prepared to leave Rock Haven early in the morning and never met Rhonda face-to-face, but the cottage and grounds spoke volumes about their values and work ethic. I had no problem using WiFi and the front gate gave us an added sense of privacy and security. We stayed in the Magnolia Cottage that featured a two-person jacuzzi, a very nice pillow-top bed, a small kitchenette, a barbeque and a covered front porch with a very nice swing, etc. The horses romped around and played in the pasture not a hundred feet from our cotttage. The only sounds were the birds, the fountain in the pond and the water fall in the small pond in the backyard, which we had the pleasure of seeing every time we were outside. If you're hooked on room service, vallet parking and being within walking distance of bars and restaruants, then this is not the place for you. However, there are plenty of places to shop and eat within a few minutes drive. We found ourselves calling this place home after long days away sight-seeing in and around Nashville. We absolutely, without a doubt, give Rock Haven five stars!! Nate and Rhonda put alot of love in this place and we consider ourselves blessed to have soaked some of it up while we were there.
